In America, we also have weird foods as well, I think the weirdest I've ever had was gator jerky (beef jerky, but it's made out of real GATORS and not beef)

I think it's just because you're not a native English speaker. Chocolate and other words are easy to spell for me, since I've spoken English my entire life.
