It's interesting, cause I agree with Rsandee that the NTSC version definitely feels more iconic, but I feel like it doesn't really convey much at the same time. It puts most of the weight on Clank (the sidekick) than it does Ratchet, and doesn't really say much about the game itself. Whereas the EU cover does a better job on the conveyance standpoint, but is far more generic.

I suppose if we're going off "looks," I suppose I'd give it to the NTSC box-art, but in terms of the era it came out, and the need for eye-catching box-art, I'm not quite sure which I'd say is better.

4-3? What a close poll this has been! I haven’t played this game though so I have no opinion on these box arts. :oops2:

There was a lot of participation this time! :D

This poll is related to the current running poll in The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread. In this case it's Dark Souls II, loved by many and hated by others... Nevertheless, it's unique and a fantastic game.
So, which one of these box arts do you prefer: PAL or NTSC-J?

PAL:

NTSC-J:

Is it coincidence that two polls are now based on Dark Souls. Was this Greengoop’s idea? Perhaps I need to start doing my own research…

OH NO GREENGOOP BECOMES A MOD EVERYBDOY RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!! :scream: :scream: :scream:

…..

(And I can’t really participate in either of these since I haven’t played Dark Souls, dammit Greengoop)

Gonna have to give it to the NTSC-J boxart, it has more aura, I believe. Definitely better conveys the grim dark aesthetic the series has, whereas PAL feels a bit more generic gritty fantasy.

I haven't played any Dark Souls games proper mind so I'm going off the vibes from what I've seen.
