Would you pay more taxes if it meant receiving a pension when you retire?

Yes, the state should guarantee a pension for its citizens.

Yes, but a mixed model would be more efficient (50% state + 50% private pension plan, for example).

No, the state does not have to manage my money; I prefer to have it myself and opt, for example, for a private pension plan.

Better idea: do you still live in the area you grew up?

• Yes, I live in the area I was born and grew up
• I live in the area I grew up, but I was born elsewhere
• No, I live somewhere else now

I like that idea, but I'll go first with the Souls game poll! That way I can also relate this poll with the next box art poll

Oh, and here you have the results from the previous one. Prepare the paper hats!

So, the question is simple... What's your favourite Souls game? How was your first experience playing them?

I went for Elden Ring, I’m simply in love with that game!

Definitely DS3, never had the pleasure to play Bloodborne. I have Sekiro on steam but I haven't been able to get into it just yet. Elden Ring was amazing but DS3 was an absolute masterpiece, especially the Gael fight and the Ringed City. 10/10.
Dark Souls 2 was underrated, I actually love comparing Elden Ring with DS2 as I view Elden Ring kind of like a Dark Souls 2: 2.
Also haven't really played Demon Souls before, and I won't in the near future as I don't really own a console, just a PC.

Oh well, not sure why I forgot about it, but you can consider the remake in the Demon's Souls (PS3) option :fou:

Bump!
Firstly... Bloodborne is my favourite one of all of them. Not only because of the Lovecraft-based universe, but also the mechanics. The parry system is amazing.

And well, it was worth giving it a try, but I think it's time to move on.

I'm cool with that idea. Also, potential poll idea for the future, do you prefer to use gesture/swipe based navigation on touchscreen devices, or do you prefer the use of buttons (physical or virtual representations, like the three buttons on Android, or older iPhones home button).

So let's go with it! Simple question... Do you still live in the area you grew up?

And also, here you have the results from the previous one. I somehow expected these results, but we had to give it a try

I was born in Westminster, lived most of my early childhood in Southwark but I’ve spent most of my life in West Kent so I guess I’m a mixture of middle and bottom options.

Born in northern Alsace, grew up in southern Alsace. Now I live near Lyon, 3rd biggest town in France. 350km south from where I grew up.

Ironically my apartment is 850m from the place my great-uncle lived his whole life (with the notable exception of when he was sent to the Indochina war). So in a sens it's back to my roots.

Gonna say yes and no. I currently stay in the same area I grew up since I was 4, which is in *****. Before that though, I’d say no, since i lived in an apartment in ***** before, about 10-15 minutes away.

Yes, I still live in the same house since I was born.
Of course I know the place very well and idk how to feel if in future I'll live elsewhere.
Of course I will only know when I find a job that I will want to do for the rest of my life and find a house nearby 🙏

I live in the same province as I always have, but have moved around a lot. This is the 6th home I've lived in so far, and may move again sometime in the next 2 years. Either to another municipality, or to another country. Originally I was aiming for Poland or England, but Japan is starting to actually look very likely now because of someone new in my life 🫢

Japan? Wow!
Personally, I would prefer to go to Japan as a tourist rather than a resident.
I love Japan but I don't think I can find happiness in a country that has a culture like Japan's, I love Japanese culture but there are many aspects of it that I don't like..

Anyway I hope that if you have to move, also in a new country, you'll feel comfortable and happy! :D

I think my thoughts are similar to Itzal, though I can say I'd probably avoid England at this point, I'm not so optimistic about our direction of travel...

England might be starting to come to shit, but I think it’s still quite a solid life here for me.

That ain't really that much tbf!

My hometown doesn't have a hospital, so that's why I was born in Valencia, which is around 30 min by car from my hometown.
(And yeah, I know my profile says I'm from there, but it's because I think it's easier to locate that city in the map )
I've lived here all my life, and to be honest, I'd like to live here for the rest of my life. Hopefully in the same hometown since most of my friends are here, but I wouldn't mind living in another place if I live close to them.
