You're probably right. I should probably put "questioning" but that feels kinda weird at my age :fou:
If it's any consolation, it's never too late to question things, and even more so if it's really about your life, so don't feel embarrassed about it dude.

Tbh, I think people's sexual orientation is something I've never paid too much attention to. I don't know if I'm a bad person for it, but I don't know, I think in the end the ideal way to deal with the issue is to normalize it and treat people as they deserve, regardless of who they have sex with in bed.

If anything, later in life is when you should be questioning things. Not to get political, but ideas of things like sexuality/gender are usually shaped by stereotypes which many people simply accepted as facts when they were younger, and which they only started questioning once they were more mentally developped.

(obligatory addition of "Source: just trust me bro")

True enough. Now that I think about it, it was only in the months after I graduated from secondary school that I started really entertaining thoughts that I might be anything other than straight and cis. I don't know if that was about stereotypes though, or if it was just that the sudden change made me suddenly feel everything was open to interrogation…

Let's be fair here it's totally ok to feel that way, I haven't exactly felt straight or cis (but for that matter I don't identify as non-binary either) for many years.

"flesh bumps" made me recoil, that wording...

I like men. I'm attracted to women a bit physically as well, but not emotionally. So I'm not really sure what to pick 🤔

Oh yeah it's been long enough that this would've updated for me- I thought I was pansexual because I liked women and clearly had a crush on a boy in high school (I'm slowly coming to terms that I was peer pressured to being into a guy and tried really hard to convince myself it was real).

But it turns out that I don't in fact have feelings towards men so it's full lesbian for me.

Bisexual but heteroromantic? I do agree that we probably could do with making a distinction between physical and emotional attraction tho.

I haven't really completely figured it out, but I think Bi is where I'm currently leaning.

Ah yes, I remember that… That explains a few things all right :oops2: Glad you finally figured it out! :)

Oh, I too remember the Hamish jokes back in the day. That was fun and all, but what matters is that you have it figured out and are now living a happy life.

I’m bisexual and Aromantic. Or well I’m on the aro spectrum, as I am only attracted to objects and fictional characters. Yes that’s strange I know but like… my brain is just like that for me. Also I’m trans, FTM!

Wait I never knew it was called Schediaphilia! I normally just label myself as fictosexual, also Objectum!

I'm not sure how widespread that term is – I get the feeling that R4Y may have coined it themself with their considerable command of Greek roots. :mefiant: Could be wrong though, maybe it's used elsewhere...

Never seen that term before, either.
I’m bisexual, and i’m attracted to real people and fictional characters. And honestly, i never thought it was weird to crush on fictional characters, ever :D I also have a slight preference for women, i think.

I’m straight, and I’ve never had gay thoughts before. Actually funny story but when I was younger I didn’t know that becoming trans was something you did yourself, I feared that I could become a woman at any given time! :oops2:

That is the stupidest yet funniest thing I’ve ever heard.

Also I like windows os’! Preferably XP, Vista and 7. The more recent ones are too ugly and lack personality, while the older ones are just not something I’m into.

Well, i’d bet there would be an intersex variation similar to that, though i’m not well versed in intersexuality so i don’t have much to say.
Many years ago, i thought trans people were some kinda secret 3rd gender or whatever :fou2:
