Nope, while it may not be the best soundtrack by a mile (and is among my least favourite), it does have many solid tunes, and most importantly quite a lot of musical variety unlike a certain game that Forces me to dislike it!The Jonster wrote: Thu Jun 05, 2025 2:13 pm is it bad that i have more tunes from Sonic Lost World I like than Sonic Forces (literally there's only one song that felt memorable to me in that game) despite never playing either of these?![]()
Try out Sea Bottom Segue, Honeycomb Highway (yes, the meme music
I'll say Lost World is a good game on its own, but it's very mediocre as a Sonic experience specifically (when you need to have a dedicated run button, you already know you f*EFF*ed it up!
There's also the fact that this was the worst example of SEGA trying too hard to emulate Mario's success by imitating the style and formulas of his games (which Colours was pretty subtle about, at the very least), and just so much of Lost World has the smell of a Mario game...
But still, a bit fun and creative at times and it was kind of a breath of fresh air in a way... It's just that it made exactly 0 sense to do this after Unleashed, Colours and especially Generations' amazing success, and there were many issues like its bland villains with exactly one stereotypical trait defining them: the Teletubbies-... oops, I meant Bowser and the Koopalings-... sorry, I mean the "Zetis"/"Please Do Not Sue Us, Nintendo!", a.k.a the dEaDly SiX!
...And wow, I'm starting to turn this place into a "review Sonic games" topic!
In fact, here's a particularly majestic theme from Bootleg Super Mario Galax-... huh, I meant Sonic Lost (His) World!
Sonic Lost World - Dragon Dance
