At one point Globox calls him a "precocious child" (in the English dub, iirc he says virtually the same thing in the original), and there is the fact that André spent time in his tummy. I'm pretty sure Globox ended up feeling he'd given birth to him. At least that's how I've always read it, for at least the last twenty years!
 
Idk, R3 is beyond bizarre at points ngl.

Also André literally cries for Globox at the end of the game so there’s that!
