< feels a bit peeved that the radio news headlines all day mentioned the 250th anniversary of Daniel O'Connell's birth but didn't breathe a word about the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima :mefiant:
 
< says he's a very important person in Irish history but he wouldn't be well-known elsewhere. It's right and proper that he's commemorated but it doesn't make sense that they would say nothing at all about Hiroshima…
 
< finds that absolutely absurd! < feels sorry for all the victims and survivors of the attack.

< is kinda scared for the boycott < is doing for YouTube when its id update starts on the 13th. < can’t switch from most google services but < would if < could. It’s just YouTube is very near and dear to <. But < has been archiving videos left and right and putting them on the internet archive. < thinks that’s something good < has done.
 
< was labelling some samples in the lab with today's date and then was like wait a minute!

< apologizes for that; < suspects there was a network outage at our hosting provider that made the server completely unreachable. Search is working again too.
 
< did not fix the network outage, < couldn't do anything but wait for the host to solve it. :confus:
< did fix search though; < is the one who broke it last night when attempting to investigate the issue. :oops2:
 
< is back from vacation

< wants to go back on vacation, preferably somewhere far of <'s family this time. Alas, < doesn't have any vacation days anymore, and <'s focus will not be set on acquiring an apartment and relocate before Christmas. Also Record Day.
