Wasn't Project Neptune the precursor to Windows XP at Microsoft? :mefiant:

And many other things! Not to mention the SEGA Neptune (or a certain gaming franchise whose main character is named after it), which is totally not another accidental allusion to a SEGA machine like my username or anything. :hap:

It's actually due to the codename convention I've recently started for my WIP books, using planet names and their orbiting moons!
Planet Neptune here has many meanings, such as being a reference to the book's protagonist main outfit color, is similar to her middle name, and it references many of the azure environments detailed in the story. The planet where most of the setting takes place has an unnaturally coloured environment due to the mysterious bluish lava-like substance flowing through all of it, and from space, it looks almost entirely blue! :hehe:
