The You Game!

Yeah, < says Brits on average are posher than Americans, despite Americans often being wealthier.

< Can see why people would call < posh, but < only slightly acts it.

Stupid meme < made.

< Wonders when he’ll say something that just about crosses the line.

For all intents and purposes, < went moderately tame.

Sure, they were a few swear words, but the few insults thrown around were on a different registry so that the overall discourse looks always outlandish and worse for <.

You mean in general?

< has been quite a shithead growing up. Putting yourself in early adulthood in a very racist environment warps your mind, therefore < has said very heinous shit.

< has grown pass this, although < has to confess that < still finds racist humour funny, as it is based on perception that is very removed from reality. So < still tells some from time to time, but with the conditions that < always mimics a caricature of a racist man so that we value of ridicule is turned back on <, and he other condition is that < tells them to people who already trust < on this previous explanation.

< grew up in the 90s where everything was so different. It was more common to have racist stuff said, and even stuff regarding being gay etc. It was a different time to say the least, and that's why < often is surprised at how upsetting a lot of things are these days when < has seen worse back then by far. It likely just means people expect a perfect world, and then they are upset when something bad happens even if it seems small. < was so used to things being worse that it never seems as much of a deal to <. < really just thinks it's a different era though.

< Is often shocked at how prevalent racism and homophobia were even less than 30 years ago. Unfortunately the world will probably not see these things go for a very long time.

< knows that some countries are just generally very racist or homophobic. Of course some people like that are going to exist everywhere to some extent, but it's pretty minimal compared to years ago. It's still definitely prevalent though clearly, and as you say, that's probably going to take a long time to improve.

As for racism though, < isn't sure why it's been happening, but apparently some scumbags in Ireland have been acting very racist towards Indian people over here, even to the point a group of teens literally started torturing this Indian man who was just a delivery driver, while recording it on a phone. < thinks that's just fucked up and completely sick. That's not normal at all, that's actual racism and not just verbal nonsense, and it's also completely psychopathic behaviour. They should be all locked up.

< Keeps hearing about these race-targeted assaults all the time in the UK, towards Indians, other South Asians and Romas especially, < has heard about boys as young as 12 being involved in these attacks as well. < Might sound old here but < fully blames social media for this stuff.

< also heard of them only being teens, which < assumes means they were only like 14 or less. < thinks that's really fucked up though. < wonders why it seems to be worldwide if it's also happening in the UK. < thought this racism nonsense was a thing of the past, especially these days where a lot of people's parents literally lived in countries like here all their lives, so the kid is technically from here even though the parents weren't. They even end up literally having our accent and everything. < thinks it's so weird that it still goes on, and < is very surprised people don't have better things to do than bully in this day and age.
