I wouldn't mind that, but I have a feeling that's not going to happen.

has anybody made a mod that ports the land of the living dead to legends? I've always found it bizarre that it wasn't included in Back to Origins

I restarted playing legends on my ps3 yesterday, already did the platinium on ps4 and even if it's not possible to do all the trophies since the servers are closed, I wanted to get the lums trophy by farming eye of the tiger, does anyone know how long it would take ?

You can get about 700 Lums in that level if you play optimally right? If you're going for the trophy you need a million. Now I imagine you've already got a fair amount, so let's say you got halfway there at 500,000. A playthrough of the level seems to take about 1:40, but let's round that up to 2 to factor in loading and other things (I'm inclined to round it a bit more personally, but let's go with a minimum number for now).

So with 500,000 lums to get, at an optimal 700 lums per run, and estimating 2 minutes for a run...that gives
500,000/700 = 714.28, or 715 runs needed.
715 x 2 = 1430 minutes,
or 23 Hours and 50 minutes of playtime.

Now that's a very rough guesstimate, so don't take that to heart, but goddamn that's a grind and a half.

I wouldn’t even say it’s worth the measly silver trophy it gets you. :oops2:

Yeah, I suspect the reason they kept that count as high as it did was to incentivise playing the online challenges, since you'd end up getting a lot of lums trying to get high scores and the like. Which is fair enough, but it is also indicative of a bit of unneccessary pushiness when it comes to the online challenges, as they're the only way you can feasibly 100% Legends thanks to things like the 1 mil lum requirement and the Levels of Awesomeness.

If they ever did do a rerelease of Legends, I'd hope they'd rebalance those so that regular players can obtain those ranks without being forced to grind online challenges for days on end.

That's also the level I mostly used to accumulate my 1,000,000 lums. I did it slowly over a few years.

Played this game with my sister and my friend. I chose to be the AC skin while my sister chose to be Ursula and my friend Olpympia.

We decided to play kung foot and we got a noise complaint from the neighbours because we were legitimately screaming our heads off lol. But overall it was so fun!

At least your neighbor did not call the cops on you playing the piano.

Hunchman801 wrote: Sun Aug 31, 2025 8:47 am Now I kinda think that it's the UbiArt games that killed the franchise. At least the Rabbids you could kind of separate from Rayman, but how do you approach the series after changing its identity and making it all about slapstick humor, human characters, and other things completely unlike the original trilogy? We'll most likely get new Rayman games, but never again in the spirit of the trilogy. :|
I'll admit, this certainly does disappoint me, because the original trilogy the games are amazing! I began with Rayman Arena at my brother's which led me to want it, but only to find Rayman 3 at the store instead. I am sad I didn't know about the series prior to that, and didn't have it beforehand. (I did have PS1, so that would have been the system, if not DOS for Rayman 1 - I also had my N64, so technically I had options for Rayman 2 between that and the PS1). Though later I got to play through Rayman 2 and it's great, and I still need to get through Rayman 1.

Then obviously the Rabbids stuff lead to a let down, but I didn't hate Origins nor Legends, but I really wanted the spirit of the trilogy again and I still do. I still want to hope they would do something in the spirit of the old games, but I'm not going to hold my breath on it. :oops2:

Which is fair, sometimes the games we play when we were very little or as a kid will have the most sentimental value to us. :)

That's how some of the early PC games were for me, when our first computer came with some demos like Descent. I played a lot of that thing!

Oh wow, Descent. That's awesome. I haven't played it so much, but it holds a special place in my heart.

Me and greengoop just had a small discussion and I thought it was an interesting question:

Do you think Barbara is Scottish or Irish?

I’m personally a Barbara Scottish truther, I even made this image:

I’ve always considered her to be Irish, but her description is just that she’s a “Celtic Viking Warrior”. (Which sure is an oxymoron and a half. :oops2:)

I think she’s Scottish. Because she’s like, so Scottish to me.

I also changed my sig to be in accordance with my beliefs but honestly, I’m probably one of the only people who cares about barbecue so I don’t think that’ll be much discussion.

Edit: ***BARBARA not barbecue…

Considering the French origins of the series, isn't it possible that she could be from a Mainland European region? Her dress sense has a lot of commonalities with Asterix and Obelix for instance...they're well renowned French characters that are Gauls, if memory serves.

Though I'd consult with the French of the site on that matter, they'll know more about this than I.

I always assumed she was a Germanic warrior, to the extent that in the old days I used to draw her with runes in her speech bubbles. (God I miss those days :nostalgic:)

Aurora and Twila on the other hand, I'm pretty sure they're Scottish (specifically Pictish)!

From all my deta, we can all conclude that she’s definitely European right? Or the Rayman equivalent of Europe. I think that’s the Jibberish forest..

Yes, Teensies in Trouble is modelled on Medieval Europe, and Barbara and Elysia are definitely European.
