Re: The You Game!
< says it better! < says autism isn’t more common now, it’s just diagnosis are becoming more common now they actually test non white boys/men now.
Re: The You Game!
< was wondering that before, if it's just more known about at this point, so it's more obvious to others now that it is. < does think a lot of people behave differently though than < recalls a few years back. Maybe it always was a thing, but being brought up so differently made it not stand out so much.

Re: The You Game!
< just remembered <‘s dad asked < yesterday to get melatonin for him, since his surgery caused him to have insomnia. Come to think of it, < wonders if < should start taking melatonin again.
Re: The You Game!
< can't recall ever taking anything to aid with sleeping ever since < was a kid, where < used to have bad toothaches and take something that < is sure was named "Teedex" or something. < does recall ^ mentioning melatonin before also.

Re: The You Game!
< knows < took the medicine ^^ mentioned. <‘s mom would mix it into <‘s milk.
But it don’t work, because < would drink the milk and spit out the crushed melatonin.

Re: The You Game!
Has ^ tried taking melatonin gummies then, in that case?
The supplement probably won't work that well for <, but < might as well try tonight. < would like to have a good sleep at the right time.

Edit:
< was curious when ^ stated this, so < checked. <'s surprised to find that < has mentioned melatonin quite a bit, around 20 times throughout <'s time here on the forum.Steo wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 2:13 am < can't recall ever taking anything to aid with sleeping ever since < was a kid, where < used to have bad toothaches and take something that < is sure was named "Teedex" or something. < does recall ^ mentioning melatonin before also.
Re: The You Game!
< just remembers seeing it at least once or twice back in the day. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

< has been informed facial hair gets thicker as you age, so ^ might be on to something there.PluMGMK wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 11:24 pmMan if only it worked like that, if ooonly…Master wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 5:57 pm Think of it as a ritual sacrifice, the beard hairs for the scalp hairs.< knows that DHT is responsible for turning off scalp follicles but is curious if it plays a role in turning on facial ones…
< knows you can get tests that determine the feasibility of getting lasered, though from rule of thumb < believes dark hair works well.PluMGMK wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 11:24 pm< does have dark hair so in theory it should work well…Master wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 5:57 pm < has looked up laser hair removal in the past, it is relatively expensive though. It's one of those things which are easier said than done. Not to mention other limitations, < has heard it doesn't work for certain hair types, due to the absorption of the laser by the hair follicles being limited, like with white hairs for instance. < believes ginger hair is another one where it's not very effective.

Well, it helps when <'s parents aren't watching a movie late at night, given the audio system < has in the living room as well. The Jonster wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 5:32 am < now wonders what exactly would help you guys sleep at night!![]()

Then it's mostly < actually going to bed at a reasonable hour.

< just uses a box fan to create the noise < needs to sleep to. It's very effective.

< doesn't enjoy ear buds, for whatever reason. < dislikes how they get all up in <'s ears. < finds them very uncomfortable.

Well < has a pretty good set of headphones already. but it makes < a bit mad that < has problems hearing, and end up putting <'s music so loud that everyone can hear that < is repeeating that one rave song over and over..

Re: The You Game!
< just puts the radio on sometimes when < is sleeping if < feels < needs background noise. Sometimes < likes to just sleep in silence, though the rest of the house may not always be like that if one wants to sleep in. The radio helps since it's constant noise, where abrupt noises usually wake < up.

< you wait the bus stop the next day, waiting for a Flexibus to arrive and pick you up for the concert that your friend invited you to
