The You Game!

< thinks < needs something for indoor exercise, <'s been reliant on walking but it's dark and <'s motivation to step outside has collapsed. <'s gotten bone idle as Autumn has hit proper.

< hasn't yet used the exercise bike despite saying < might do so, though < had to walk the dogs to get their injections and pretty much walked about 5km or so anyway.

Walking is still a pretty good exercise, < says. < misses when < could do some biking in the gym though, those days were fun.

Has ^ tried taking melatonin gummies then, in that case?

The supplement probably won't work that well for <, but < might as well try tonight. < would like to have a good sleep at the right time. :D

Well…..uhhh…..< says it worked at least. Except maybe it worked too well. < slept earlier than usual but also overslept

…..and then < proceeds to sleep 3 more hours. :oops2: :oops2:

< is expecting to be tired enough today to sleep as a somewhat sensible time, one that isn't like 6AM. :P

< thinks even if it's late, it would just be nice if it was about 2-3 hours earlier instead of 6AM.

While < has <'s own struggles with sleep, < is taking solace in the fact that <'s sleep could be a lot worse compared to others here...

< suppose that's one way of looking at it.

At this point < has spent 3 hours (plus 2 hours last night) waiting for the VM to install. < has a better chance of getting a good sleep schedule than <'s VM installing in the next....20 minutes!

< did even worse last night, though for a certain reason. < was also pretty lazy today due to having little energy and feeling unwell.

< hopes ^ will feel better later. It sucks to be feeling sick.

.......

< hasn't been very productive today. Mainly because, < is still waiting for <'s freaking Windows XP installation to finish! :pascontent:
The Windows 7 installation < did yesterday was not nearly this long.

It has been a long time since <'s faffed with VMs, and an eternity since <'s done an XP install, but this does sound like an extreme amount of time for an XP install?

< doesn't recall XP taking very long to install. < also found some really old laptop that has a "designed for XP" sticker on it. < would love to find a charger for it and mess with it. Maybe it can be used for DOS also.

That's because it shouldn't, <'s screen stated it would take 40 minutes. That was like.....over 12 hours ago? Now it's 3 PM and I'm looking at 6 minutes. So either < has to keep the focus on the VM the whole time or throw out a lot of the applications < currently has open cuz this is getting silly at this point. :fou2:

Edit: < doesn't want to delete all the VMs < has saved yet until < is certain < can get this one up and running (and all the games < puts in there successfully up and running).

<'s not sure but it probably did at some point in the night. < decided to restart the setup again anyways.

If at first you don't succeed, try try again, < supposes. It is strange that it's being so finicky though, <'d have thought an XP install to VM would be a fairly pedestrian process. At any rate, < hopes it behaves this time!

< hopes it will work this time. < does remember having a weird issue with a certain XP install disc where it would hang on 13 minutes for about an hour, though any other XP discs < had didn't encounter this issue.
