< has not been browsing/posting on RPC much recently... What's up, any news to share?

< thinks we're in the calm before the Xmas storm, though < suspects it'll be fairly quiet as we all have gatherings and the like to contend with

< does assume others might be a little busy as well this time of year when it comes to trying to sort out Christmas presents etc. Though < expects this place to go crazy once it gets its ranks and decorations all the same.

< was really mad, livid even, regarding the football squad.

And then < received the news that an Ukrainian friend had the apartment two blocks over be attacked by a drone. What are we even complaining with our lives?

< knows we can tend to get mad or be unhappy about trivial things at times, and it could be a lot worse.

Now, <'s actual computer, < needs to do some organizing as well and some cleaning too. <'s computer consistently has been claiming < has single-digit GB for storage left.

< meanwhile is trying to limit <'s consumption of sweet stuffs...to middling success.

< has been limiting it since the summer, to surprising success. The worst is when < is using sugar in the lab, with its overpowering smell, and can't taste it

< realized this morning that < is doing a sort of anti-Santa thing: turning sugar into coal

Sugar has an overpowering smell? Perhaps ^ should run down that process for <...

< admires ^'s power of will...meanwhile < was doing rather well this week but < ended up getting a doughnut today since < was having a bad craving xD
Maybe < should start turning those to coal...

< tends to do things slowly when < is trying to cut things out. < has now come to the point where < no longer binges at night when < is stressed and no longer drinks soda or even diet soda on a regular basis. Sweets, fast food, junk food, < will eventually phase those out as well (<'s already started limiting sweets). So these things will take time no matter how much willpower one has.

Even if there's a little mistake and < eats a whole day's worth of undesirable foods, it's ok. We all have those days sometimes, it's just a stepping stone of the journey, we'll get to the destination eventually.. < has taken it to heart to celebrate the small victories (like <'s small weight loss < learned a few days ago despite doing almost nothing other than take an injection).

The annealed product is then coal with an interesting nanostructure

< is pretty sure < used to know what molar meant at one point in <'s life. Those days are sadly passed however.

It's pretty simple, "molar" is shorthand for "moles per litre", and a "mole" is a quantity of substance that contains 6.022×1023 molecules of the substance. So in this case, <'s litre of solution contained a quarter of 6.022×1023 sucrose molecules (C12H22O11) dissolved in deionized water. In other words, that's 85.5 grams of sugar!

<'s dad went to a funeral up in Armagh this morning. < unfortunately couldn't accompany him due to choir practice, it would have been nice to see Northern Ireland even briefly

Yet <'s worried about how ^ and ^^ are not sleeping well, including <.

For the first time in <'s life, < will not have an Adventskalendar this year, and < will not put the Christmas tree up.

It would be too much of a hassle to put away in two weeks anyway.
