Rayman Legends Fan DLC: Adventures & Mini Become Legendary!

Hello! I just wanted to ask how the project is going? I know how long it takes to make such a big project since I have kind of started working on a DLC of mine too.
Either way I hope your doing well, and that the project is being developed smoothly.

Indeed, the project is progressing quite well. I'm glad you're all waiting for it, but of course I don't intend to keep anyone waiting longer than necessary. I and the others in our small team are working hard to make sure that doesn't happen. Rest assured that the moment we're ready to show things, we will, and it will be worth the wait. :)

By the way, I'm sorry about repeating this same generic response every time. In fact, every time I say this I really, really do want to show you all the latest cool things we've made, but I'm holding back because this would just make the wait harder and because it'll be more fun for everyone to discover these things in-game when it's finally in your hands.

Hey i believe the wait will be worth and when the fan dlc r releases then it will be on my hands :D but I love you droolie and your work and your team and I believe we are in final edge of release

Hey 2k_y! I hope you're doing well too. Thanks for offering to help out, but at the moment we don't need further help with costumes or duck sprites.

However, it would be good to have some help with the the moskito sprites for the Adventures/Mini/Fiesta Run exclusive Globox skins. Unlike with Rayman/Barbara/Teensy's moskito sprites, Globox uses exclusive sprites that can't be found on any texture from those games, so these need to be drawn from scratch - not taken from anywhere else. You can see this here (I've circled all globox sprites that would need to be replaced. The moskito sprites can remain as-is, and other Globox sprites can be loaded from his main texture so they don't need to be replaced.).

Both for this and for other new/original artwork, we could definitely use help from someone who's comfortable with drawing new art in the style of Rayman Legends. :)
If someone reads this and is interested, please send me a private message with some examples of your previous (original) art. :D
 
Hi Droolie. I just made this account to see if your team's still interested in adding a Captain Lazerhawk skin. If so, I found this cool mod by ThatUnnamedPersonxp that adds just that to Legends over on Gamebanana. I just the messager and I think it's cool as heck, and after looking through the thread, surprised no one mentioned it earlier.

Hey Droolie,

Unfortunately, I don’t have experience drawing in the Rayman Legends art style, and I’m also not very proficient at drawing on PCs or tablets. Because of this, I don’t think I’d be a good fit for the role, and I wouldn’t want to be unnecessary or unhelpful to the project.

I’m sorry about that, and I really appreciate your understanding. Wishing you the best of luck with the DLC — it looks great so far.
