Phew, everyone, I've been sick since all this winter, and last nights I had some insane fever dreams about us discussing rumors on Rayman Legends getting a remake out of all games, and that it was Project Steambot all along!
Could you believe something this ridiculous ever happening?

MOST PEOPLE REACTING TO THE RUMORS ON SOCIAL MEDIAS ARE ALREADY DUMBFOUNDED AND QUESTIONING ALL OF THIS NONSENSE!
DO YOU KNOW HOW BOWSER'S INSIDE STORY FLOPPED MONUMENTALLY HARD WHEN THAT SHIT WAS REMADE FOR THE 3DS!? AND IT WAS A BLOODY MARIO GAME!

TOTALLY DEFINITIVEST EDITION™!?... NO, IN FACT, CALL IT THE
DEFINITIVER EDITION™, THAT WAY YOU HAVE ROOM FOR THE
DEFINITIVERER™ VERSION FOR THE
EFFIN' PS7 IN ANOTHER 13 YEARS, RINSE AND REPEAT AD VITAM AETERNAM!!
The more I read about anything Ubisoft is doing, and the more I desire for them to go as bankrupt as their creativity, while all the employees find a much healthier environment, and the IPs Ubi hoarded and sat on for decades are bought by companies who actually care about making games first and money second!
But of course, we do not live in such an utopian world, so say goodbye to a proper future for Rayman, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, Might & Magic and so many more, because at that point we have like 0,1% chance for them to get anything great happening!
Phew... I need to calm down... Sorry, I had to let it all out.
Once again, mostly rumours with nothing 100% confirmed, but in case this does turn out true, you have all of my reaction prepared in advance here!
However, it would certainly explain why we were told Christophe Héral was returning to compose for more Rayman games
, despite how unsuitable his style would be for a Great Escape or Hoodlum Havoc remake...
It was because he's probably going to recompose his soundtrack for Legends or expand it with new pieces should it be the same thing with more stages...
And as they did say it in plural, this pretty much would imply too that we're not escaping the UbiArt milking loop ANYTIME SOON... despite the fact the cow has been already bone-dry since the mid to late-2010s.
In fact, maybe the name "Iceman" has been picked in reference to the fact that a certain "Man" will be put on ice again if we're not interested into the pointless load of steam
bot they're blowing off at us.
Otherwise, it may mean we're getting a retread of Fiesta Run, except it only takes place on the icy surface of Gourmand Land!
Who knows, maybe
Legends Super Definitive Complete Deluxe Turbo 3D HD 4K DX Anniversary Ultimate Nintendo Switch 2 Edition™ will really happen and it will turn out to be the greatest avant-garde masterpiece ever...!
But with Ubisoft in charge, I certainly can't hold my breath in that regard.
Anyway, let's all look at the positive... We're having some great Rayman games coming out regardless, all made by the fans!

Ackchyually...
Butsh waitsh!

Isn't the phrasing implying the Rayman series is in a boring situation since 2011/2006? Therefore, by your correction, aren't you saying Rayman 3 made the Rayman franchise boring?
...But you're right in a way about the number still being incorrect, therefore I'm changing it to 2005 for the totally flawless Rayman DS and Hoodlums' Revenge, which everyone 200% loved!

Lets just get to the logical conclusion, the franchise was doomed the day it started.
Well, even before... in fact, Rayman was ruined the moment it stopped being a SNES project...
