Good to hear!

There appear to be figures involved, even though it's a card game, so that'll be nice for fans of that game. I myself have no interest in this (even though it'd be nice if they put Rayman in there), but I thought I'd bring it up for those who wanted to know.
Super Metal Rayman seems quite popular, maybe he'll find his way in the game somehow!

We've got another update!
FLYOS wrote:All miniatures have now been received, reviewed, and fully documented. Our detailed feedback has been sent to LongPack, and the factory is currently producing the molds. About half of the work is already completed. The final phase of mold fabrication will take roughly another month and a half, as these metal molds are built to withstand injection processes and require precise production guides.

In parallel, we are still finalizing several purchase orders with our partners. This includes quantities for Asmodee Canada, Red Square Games in Poland, and additional regions currently under discussion. We are also exploring a broader partnership with Maestro Media, who could help expand Rayman’s reach into larger markets, including the United States. Our goal is to consolidate everything into the most comprehensive print run possible. That said, we want to reassure every Kickstarter backer: you will receive your copies first, ahead of all retail and distribution partners. Your pledge will be locked down before any external orders move forward.

We're are doing everything we can to stay within a reasonable schedule. We still expect delivery within the next six to seven months, which places fulfillment around summer 2026.

We will keep you updated as things progress, and as always, thank you for supporting the creation of this game and trusting us throughout this journey.
Tl;dr: The mini molds are halfway done, Maestro Media might get involved with the game's distribution, and the game is set to ship in June 2026 (only a month or two delayed from the last estimate, but now that's a whole year after when they originally said it would come :?).

Well, turns out they are including Rayman:
Hello Legends,

The campaign has nearly come and gone, but don't think we don't have one last fun surprise up our sleeve! Everyone, please put your hands together and give a big round of applause, for the one and only...

RAYMAN!

Scrappy and elusive, Rayman joins the fray as our newest Legend. He hits hard and is even harder to pin down. Specializing in hit-and-run tactics, he has arrived just in the nick of time!

Rayman will be available as a $20 add-on, just like the other additional legends in the add-on section of the campaign.

He does not come included in the Legend tier, but he is a fully fleshed-out Legend and will be fully compatible with all versions of the game!

Hype hype hype! Thank you, everyone, for your support thus far, and we look forward to answering any questions you may have in the comments. Enjoy Rayman everyone!

Until The Next Brawl,

~The Maestro Team

After missing out on January (on purpose, apparently), FLYOS has finally given us our update for February!
FLYOS wrote:Since our last update in early December, production has continued to move forward. Mold fabrication is now about 75% complete, with only the final stage remaining on the factory side. Over the past month, the team encountered a few challenges during the assembly phase, and we also had to make several micro-adjustments on our end. These fine-tuning steps did slow things down slightly, but they were necessary to ensure everything meets the quality bar we expect.

We are now approaching the final stretch and expect the factory to receive the definitive version by the end of the month or early March. In parallel, we are wrapping up our remaining purchase orders and are very close to closing this process. We are also preparing a new online store for those who wish to order expansions or additional items, which will go live in the coming months.

While these adjustments have had a minor impact on our production timeline, we expect to quickly return to our regular schedule once this final step is completed. Progress has been steady, even if it has taken a bit longer than initially planned. As a small team, we are doing our best to move carefully and responsibly, and we truly appreciate your patience. We’re getting close, and we’ll continue to keep you informed as things move ahead.
For those who are wondering, the slight challenges mentioned here don't appear to have affected the timeline for shipping, so the game's still coming around June 2026. :)

They also showed this image of Rayman in Brawlhalla: The Card Game. It looks like his expression was changed slightly from an angry yell to a smiling scream.

I like that they stuck to this design. I'm not sure what the Brawlhalla version of Rayman would have looked like as a figure.

We've got another big update!
FLYOS wrote:The production of the molds is now fully completed. The factory has already produced the first injection samples, which we should receive in the coming days. They have already sent us several photos so we can validate the quality of the production and confirm that everything meets our expectations before moving forward.

All paper and cardboard components of the game are now finalized. The rulebook, boards, and all printed elements have gone through their final revisions and are ready for production.

The only remaining item on the component side concerns the official Ubisoft certification stickers. Because this is an official Ubisoft product, these stickers must be produced by a certified factory in Spain. Once printed, they will be shipped to our manufacturing partner in China for final assembly. We are currently preparing this order.

Aside from that, we are now at the doorstep of mass production. The remaining steps mostly involve final coordination with our partners. Since the game is being produced in partnership with Maestro Media, who handled distribution for part of the North American territory, we are aligning the final production quantities together. We are also waiting for the final validation of the Polish version, as a very small last-minute visual adjustment was made to the box and rulebook.

Once these last details are cleared, the factory will be ready to start mass production of the game. This also means that Rayman will be the first game we deliver among the projects currently in production at FLYOS.

The mold production took longer than expected. Several factors slowed the process, including last-minute adjustments and the Chinese New Year factory shutdown. However, we are now extremely close to the production phase. We will soon ask the factory to record videos of the production line, and we look forward to sharing those with you in the next update.
Sounds good, right? :)

Good news indeed!

But a Polish version? I don't remember reading about this before, and I thought they were only localizing the game to French and English.

I think they ended up going for that after the campaign ended. From what I remember, there was a lot of support for that language even though those backers didn't meet the campaign's lofty goal, so it's nice that they did it anyway. Good for the Polish folks!

Anyway, I come bearing news: the board game is beginning production on May 6th! :D
And yes, that's past the April deadline, but not by much! :oops2:
FLYOS wrote:Hello everyone!
We are finally here. After months of hard work, we are thrilled to announce that production for Rayman The Board Game will officially launch on May 6th!
Regarding Chapters (Definitive Edition): Production will follow immediately after Rayman. I will be posting a dedicated update for Chapters very shortly with specific dates and milestones, just like we are doing for Rayman today. Stay tuned!
To be completely transparent: we are fully aware that we have passed our initial deadlines. To make up for this delay, we are doing everything in our power to speed up the next steps and get these games to you as quickly as possible, without any compromise on quality.

What you need to check as a priority:
YOUR LANGUAGE (Priority #1): Confirm that your language (EN, FR, DE, ES...) is correct. Once production begins on May 6th, we cannot change the quantities.
YOUR ADDRESS: Verify your shipping address. You can still update it during production if you move.
Thank you for your quick response so we can send the final lists to the factory on May 1st!

FLYOS shared a few more updates regarding the production schedule:
FLYOS wrote:Once the machines start on May 6th, we anticipate approximately 3 months of production. To be cautious and guarantee flawless quality control for every box, we are projecting a total of 14 weeks for finalization.
It looks like Polish might only be available for later purchases, though:

Well, today is the last day to change the address, so I'd contact FLYOS now if you're still having trouble with it.

Correct on both fronts! Sorry I didn't give you guys the typical rundown here. Anyway, this 14-week production process does mean that the shipping estimates have been pushed back to late August. On the bright side, at least it's still coming in 2026... right? :oops2:

On another note, FLYOS has been updating their store recently, and I've spotted some of the Rayman stuff on there today. There's the base game (the one with the standees), the deluxe edition that includes the figures, the 5-6 player expansion (base = standees, deluxe = figures), the set of 10 skins, and the previously-campaign-exclusive deluxe tokens and large scale figs! Good news for those who wanted them! :D

I thought the large-scale figs were gonna be Kickstarter-exclusive? Or was it something else?

They were, but if the page image is anything to go by (which I can no longer check, since they just locked the store) it appears the deluxe tokens and large-scale figures are going to be available there! Again, great news for those who missed out on the initial campaign! :)

Happy for those who missed it, but personally I'm not extremely happy about it. Half the reason I bought one of the large figs was because it was specifically advertised as an exclusive to the KS, and for them to change their minds right after orders got locked in for shipping does tick me a little bit. I probably a bit selfish here, but that's just who I am.

Not a big deal but I wished it wasn't advertised as an exclusive if they're selling it outside of the KS. :?

I've got to agree with you here. It's great that they're making them available for everyone, but advertising them as exclusive during the campaign only to change their minds at a later point feels like a deceptive way of selling more units.

Honestly meh. We're looking at a delivery after a year long delay (unless a new hiccup delays the whole stuff again).

Given all the issues that I had to escalate to customer support, I would consider myself lucky to receive a non-empty box.

Finally got a confirmation from Flyos today that everything was good to go. Was anyone else asked to confirm stuff through "Gamefound", and had success with it if so? I couldn't figure it out at all, supposedly it was connected to the Kickstarter since I followed an emailed link to create an account there, but it said I had no pledges. I had to just message Flyos on Kickstarter to take care of it instead...
