question for legends players, this might have been asked before, but which level/challenge do you find brutally punishing/difficult? possibly for me that would be A Cloud of Darkness, as it took me a lot of tries to finally beat that sonuvabitch!

Three words: Infiltration. Station. Invaded.

Any Legends player worth their Lums knows what I'm talking about. Throughout the level, you're forced to take out every enemy in each area before the next one opens up. An easy task, maybe even a fun one... if Dark Rayman wasn't chasing you around the whole time. One touch from that shadow kills you instantly and forces you to restart the whole thing. Combine all of that with the 40 second time limit for freeing all of the Teensies at the end, and you've got what is, for my money, easily the most difficult level in all of Rayman Legends. I can't count how many tries it took me to beat that for the first time, and I still die often when replaying it.

Oh, some may deny this claim! Some may say that the aforementioned Cloud of Darkness or the Invaded counterparts of The Amazing Maze or Hell Breaks Loose are more challenging and rage-inducing than the station. But at least to me, those three are easier to memorize, especially so with the game's somewhat-underwhelming final boss, making them less difficult on replays.

With this level, you can have it as memorized as you want; if you miss one attack, fail to bubblize one enemy in the room and break the flow of the combat, either Dark Rayman will kill you or you won't have enough time to save all three Teensies, forcing a restart for completionists like myself. And if you're frantically trying to take out all enemies before your shadowy double can catch up with you, you'll probably miss an enemy, forcing you to go back and do it again. And again. AND AGAIN! :grrr:

So yeah, I really don't like Infiltration Station - Invaded. Enjoy the rest of your day!

don't take me back, just, please, don't take me back. :mefiant:

Jee, hasn't had been a post here since like the last couple of days... Time I should probably bring it back from the Land of The Livid Dead
Hi Rayman Legends fanatics, How are we all feeling today?

Still feeling weird about Retold. 😜 You?
Excited for Retold and Origins Enhanced Edition to come out.. Recently picked up and pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition not too long ago since I've started to become a die-hard Rayman fan since then.

I might need to go back and complete Origins again since my save file got corrupted, sigh..

I've preordered mine too. The Enhanced Edition will be a good occasion for me to replay Origins. I don't even have a platform to play it right now. 😩

But hey! Look on the bright side, At least we're finally getting Rayman Origins onto modern consoles now (well, except for the PlayStation 4 that is, Xbox One is an exception), Going to love the vibrant, 4K visuals and an easy mode (awhh, finally...) and some more QOL stuff!!

I'd doubt they'd be able to do that since Retold was made in a separate game engine and not made in Ubiart Framework, It's a matter of time if they decide to make an in-game launcher for Retold which includes Origins Enhanced Edition

I think it would most likely that once you buy Retold, a separate icone for Origins Enhanced Edition will appear on your console menu...depending on which though. I could be talking outta my head though...

No worries, I already know! When I pre-ordered it on PlayStation 5, It showed another game with no icon on it indicating that it's definitely Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition!
