What are people's musical tastes here?

My musical tastes... Would probably have to be rock, techno, and celtic. I've always held celtic music close to me. It's just so soothing... Especially when I'm having one of those temper days.

While I listen to rock when I feel like I want to punch something. Techno... I dunno why, I just like disco-like music. Heheh...

It always strikes me how many fans of celtic music I seem to meet on the internet, it's so awesome. :3

Celtic music is simply beautiful. It doesn't surprise me to see how many people like it. My favorite would have to be 'Lord of the Dance' or 'Lark of the Midnight Aire'. I highly doubt anyone heard of those. (I am very well aware that I spelt 'aire'. I'm not talking about 'air'... Just wanted to make that clear.)

Lord of the Dance is amongst my favourites too. : D Great music, Ronan Hardiman is a genious.
I haven't met a single person who's very fond of celtic music in RL except for my violin instructor, very few even know what it is, so that's why is strikes me, I suppose. xD

I mostly listen to heavy and industrial metal. However, I sometimes listen to pop, mainstream rock, nu metal, punk, neo-classical metal, symphonic metal, thrash/speed metal (I can't really differentiate those), power/epic metal, gothic metal and black metal.

My friend loves Heavy Metal.

And people over here like Celtic music. ;) It's a beautiful masterpiece, that type of music. Listening to it right now, actually.

Now that I think of it, I don't really mind any type of music.

(By the way, thanks for the donation, Gamerking.)

I like Alternative Rock, Drum & Bass, Old-school Hip-Hop/Rap, and Electronica.

I'm into rock, punk rock, all kinds of metal (I really don't care about those differences everyone is talking about), and some dance/trance tracks.

Oh yeah? How about the so called "nu-metal"? It's completely different from thrash for example.. (a lot worse tbh).

Yeah you can consider a (big) difference between nu-metal and trash metal, and all the others. But let's say my musical taste is just a little too wide, I just love them all. I can even enjoy listening to Metallica's St.Anger that was considered as real 'thrash' by alot of people..

I mostly listen to heavy metal. Sometimes Folk (Electric Light Orchestra), But mostly metal like Disturbed, Dragonforce, In Flames....

Dragonforce is more of a power metal band, and In Flames are closer to black metal. Do you listen to old or new Disturbed songs by the way?

Nobody considers that piece of shit a thrash album, it's mallcore at BEST... And Metallica sucks... The first two albums were ok but nothing special... and the rest of their stuff is.. ugh. And it's impossible to listen to and is a disgrace to humanity.

But let's say my musical taste is just a little too wide
Musical taste can't be too wide, that's nonsense.

And i LOVE Dragonforce. I got all their cd's :D

Yeah same here, but I wish that they put a better Dragonforce song on Guitar Hero 3!
