Man... Those are some amazing drawings ya got there. 83 Wish I had such a place somewhat like the Ly picture around my area. That would be nice...

Can I have a shovel? 83 Seriously, you'd really have to dig a lot if you want to see art from me. Most I can do are stickmen...though I must say, I enjoy drawing even them. I can't draw two identical stickmen, but I'm sick enough to like even this absence of talent, and make two pages full of stickmen wars. XD

whoa, it seems we are very much alike. but yeah, as limely said, writing and other things count as art too. i'm just not good a t drawing artistically. anyway, those pictures are still going really well there limely. i think you've improved on Ly a bit too. keep up the good work!
 
For some reason, I'm beginning to find it rather complicated to draw Rayman... What is it that I'm having trouble with? His hands, probably... At least I'm beginning to improve on drawing a different particular character.
 
aaargh! i can never seem to get ray's hands quite right. if they don't end up oddly shaped, they end up too big or too small. it makes it kinda hard when they're not attached
 
A bit... But then again, I find human hands to be very challenging. It's the position of the fingers that's always confusing me. Then in the end, I end up cussing to myself at how terrible the results are. :oops2:
 
That, my dears, is what you use help-lines for. Draw a line representing an arm, for his hands won't look natural unless they are placed naturally for us peeps with limbs. The help-line helps you determine where it looks natural.
And also, for practising drawing hands, just draw them with four fingers in the beginning, and then expand to five.

Thanks for the compliments. ^^ I'm almost done with the Globox-picture. I'll upload it once I'm done, and so far, I want to say that this might be one of my best pieces up to date, but yano... I still have time to mess up. :lol:

yeah, hands are hard to draw. i try to draw hands in positions that are relatively easy so it doesn't mess up the picture.

Thank youz~ :3 I think it's one of my best so far. I'm very satisfied with it, though there are some minor flaws, but yano. Nobody can be perfect. D:

late night posting huh? i do that alot. it's early morning over here now, but i was posting at 1 o'clock last night. :baille:
 
I'm not perfectly happy with how Globox's body came out, and there's an issue with the kid's eyebrow, it makes it look angry, sorta. Also, I might have wished that the colour was a bit deeper, but yano. It's just minor things.

Ya, expect a lot of late night posts from me in the near future, as I'm having Easter holidays and don't have to get up early. : D
 
Since on the DA version you has Advanced Crits enabled, I've handed down some, hope you don't mind...I try to be as kind as I can when doing crits. :oops: It's still a lovely pic of Globox though.

hmm. apart from the eyebrow thing, i didn't really think there was anything wrong with it.
i always do late night posting on weekends and holidays. but i don't post at 3am like chiwie (he's on a different, non-rayman forum) does.
