Vacation? Alert us!

I'm setting off to Denmark, Copenhagen, early tomorrow morning. Class trip. It's odd. We've been working hard to be able to afford this trip for so long, and then, suddenly it's here, and we have more money than we actually needed. :0
Anyways. I'll probably have internetz quite a lot, so you won't notice my absence much. The hotel must have cordless internet, they always do, I think the boat has as well.

it sounds wierd hearing people like you talking about going to other countries. countries are so small in europe, and to me the idea of going to another country for a school thing is absurd. overseas for school? i don't think so.
one of my teachers once told me about a friend she had from europe. she got really freaked out on a (very) long train trip and kept thinking "we must be in another country by now!". not a chance. not in australia.

Ahaha, yeah, I see what you mean. Australia must be huge... Here you can drive for a couple of hours, and suddenly you're in Sweden, haha.

Cruize-ships, my friend, they have it all. : D
I should probably do a check-up on it before I go to sleep, check out what I can expect.

In theory, we're going to a space-museum to learn about global warming. We'll most likely just end up exploring the city, though. And there was some talk about an amusement park as well...
16 is legal drinking age in Denmark, and I just know someone's going to try and buy/drink alkohol, even though the tour leaders have forbidden it and will send those who do it anyways home by first available plane. It'll probably be fun. xD

People always drink during school trips anyway :D But what's the legal age to drink in Norway? Isn't it 16 too?

Naw, 18 for beer and light stuff like that, 21 for the strong shit.
Nobody cares, though. xD;;

It's respectively 16 and 18 in France, but as you said, no one cares ^^ I got drunk for the first time in Crete when I was 13 anyway ^^

from the central coast, which is roughly in the centre of nsw, it takes 8 hours to get to queensland, which is the nearest state. also, the great barrier reef, a big reef off the coast of queensland, is twice the size of england. does that give you an idea of the size?

yeah, 18 here too. but again, most people don't particularly care. i accidentally had a sip of beer once. it tasted like shit.

It must have been crappy beer :o
By the way, I'd like to go to Australia one day, yet I've already planned to study one year in the UK or the US soon.

I wanna go to Australia too. In fact I wanna go all over the world once I get my passport, all my life I've been stuck in this one part of the UK and never been anywhere beyond the Isle of Wight.

That sounds like shit... I've been all over Scandinavia...

Anyways. This is a really crummy hotel. The furniture is green and flowery. There's a topless-bar with "sex-shows 24/7" just across the street, hookers on the street-corner, and a sex-shop around there. Fun times.

uh...where is that again? :D

well, according to a comedian, here is alot nicer than britain, but that may be slightly biased.

It reminds me of when we were looking for hookers in Paris, three or fours years ago with friends in Paris ^^
