Technically, the flash illuminates the blood flowing through the person's retina, and it all happens fast enough that the person doesn't have time to blink. And as for natural hair color, I'm also brown haired.

Lol, it's still white with blue stripes, but they are faded and hidden under the fringe for the occasion. The light makes it look yellow-ish. :B
My original hair-colour is darker, sort of wheat-coloured. :0
