What do you want in Rayman 4?

Riding spiders would still be awesome. And pirate ships (if the robo-pirates return). But not motorbikes or stuff like that.
And what about dancing powers? Not just dancing minigames like in RRR.

Rayman is not like every other game series. It is unique and unusual. It's a different universe that works in a different way. It's MADE of strange ideas. Ever sice the first Rayman.

but dancing........it's a different kind of strange. it doesn't really suit. whoo! bashing people up and suddenly...now i'm dancing! ahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa!

Two things seem extremely important to me: the magic style and the various gameplays. Levels should be huge and mysterious, and there would be loads of different ways to go through them, like in Rayman 2.

Agreed. The music has allways been awesome, even in RRR.

I think free-roaming would be great, but with some levels included.

well yeah, i like in revolution; a free-roaming environment that connects to a whole bunch of proper levels.

I would also like some awesome graphics and animations:

Detailed enviroments, colourful backgrounds, over 50 different ways of jumping and extremely smooth animations. And the freeze-mode from Rayman 3 should return, but improved. This time you can record videos with no time limit. And in the Wii version, you should be able to send the photos and videos to your Wii message board, and even your SD card.

I want ALL the good guys from ALL Rayman games to be involved. And i want complely new enemies. Possibly a return of Mister dark and Dark Rayman. :D I also want this game to be on the WII. :fou:

ALL the good guys are too many, in my opinion. But Globox, Ly, Murfy and the Teensies would be great along with some new friends. And i would also like if the robo-pirates would return. Not alone, but along with other new enemies. Dark Rayman would still be awesome.

i'd actually like to have all the good guys. it'd be hard to give them all important roles, but they could at least make a brief appearance.

I'd like a free-roaming hub area. Not as realistic as one big streaming world, though much easier to navigate. For example, I bought Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2 on the Xbox a few years ago, and it used one big streaming world. (Well, almost. The cheap kind of streaming world though, like Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, with the "load tunnels".) I could hardly make my way around at times. The first in the series, though, used the hub area idea (likely inspired by Rayman 2: Revolution's success) that I thought worked well.

50 ways are too more. But:
1. jump
2. jump with copter
3. jump with copter and turning it off
4. jump using spring
5. jump using spring with copter
6. jump using spring with copter and turning it off
I think you caught it on.
7.-9. jump with falling attack
10.-12. jump using spring with falling attack
13.-15. running on a wall and then jump
16.-18. running on a wall and then jump with falling attack
19.-21. jump with air dash
22.-24. spring jump with air dash
25.-27. wall jump with air dash
28.-36. three points above, with copter after dash
37.-45. like point above, but with turning copter off
46.-72. five points above with falling attack
73. special run jump

I hate dancing in games.

Partially agreed. My wish are a few free roaming hubs WITH DANGEROUS THINGS and about fifty long, more linear levels, but with a few ways. And dozen of secret passages like Fairy Glade cage no. 7.

Getting back a few characters from every game. Not all. Another can get back in R5. That's the point.

With no time limit, they will not fit memory. Especially if Ubi will choose same way it chose with R3 snapshots (typical bitmap, and with video that mean typical video) instead of:
SCENERY-80-60-4G-KL->M
RAYMAN-6954b-Km0-GVB
etc.

I think it is possible to include Rayman 1 or another game in R4. That's because it is a CD game in most of versions. Too small, to simply rerelease it. Too big, to put on VC or WiiWare. (Music from RayTunes in mp3 is about 50 MiB.)
