Re: Rayman 2
How can the original game and the remake compete with each other? It's like comparing Conkers Bad Fur Day with Conker: Live and Reloaded.

Re: Rayman 2
Well, sometimes the remake sucks compared to the original game. I wouldn't say Revolution sucks, but it screwed up the original universe, for sure.

Re: Rayman 2
They both have aspects I find good and bad. For instance the way they gave a personality to the Guardians in R2 was something I sorely missed in RR. The free-roaming is good too, but I wish they had combined it withthe Hall Of Doors somehow...that wasreally awesome. I also liked how Teensies get more part in R2. The level revisions are good, adding quite some more to the gameplay.
Bottom line: I think both games deserve credit, since both are pretty good on their own. Whether which is better or worse, I think that mostly relies on how individual players see it. 83

Re: Rayman 2
lets talk about how the final bosses are different from the PS1 version to all the other versions.
I honestly like the final boss in the PS1 version.

Re: Rayman 2
I think the PS1 final boss is cool, but it would be cooler if the other final boss came after that. Like some kind of cut scene where Razorbeard gets stuck, and all exits are closed.
Re: Rayman 2
Man i want a ps1 and Rayman 2 for it. I've seen the battle on youtube (some guy had already finished a Rayman 2 ps1 walkthrough before teddybeer) and it looked awesome. It would be better if two robo ninja pirates were involved.

Not allways. I can't get any of my PS1 Rayman 2 discs to work on my PS2.

Re: Rayman 2
Yes. One of selling points of PS2 was backward compatibility.
AND, PS3... well, it's too hard to translate.

Re: Rayman 2
Well, the PS3 also has backward compatibility, though it's a little screwed up because it translates it to a widescreen/HD resolution. It's honestly no biggy though.

Re: Rayman 2
didn't they take the backwards compatability out to decrease the price?
Re: Rayman 2
I'll proberly have no problem about buying Rayman 2 Ps1 then.
