Hallo,

i'm currenty working on some "new" stuff for the mapper from raymans world. You can see some samples here:

But it seems to be that almost a very few people work with these things today. So I thought it wouldn't make much sense to work on with these things, if almost a very few people work with it.

So want to know how many people have or use the mapper+event editor today :)

I used to play a lot with the Mapper, but it was years ago and I never thought of adding new sprites... I love the thorn lianas from the educative Rayman games by the way :D

Ohh yeah. I have this game Materhero. It's the Rayman game i've recently been playing more than any other Rayman game recently. I've done 4 levels on the Candy Chateau:

1.Crazy Candy Twist
2.The Sugar Adventure
3.Spikes and yikes! Part 3
4.Box of Chocolates

I'll be making two other levels each on in a different world for Spikes and yikes! Part 1 and 2.

I'm now working on my fifth Candy Chateau level: 5.Whipped Cream toppings

And By the Way, how did you get the spiked vine, purple trees and purple mushrooms? I don't have that in my game. :(

Uhm, it is was a lot of very annoying work, but finally i got the new stuff in :)

Here you can download it: http://www.willhostforfood.com/access.php?fileid=27784
The Zip-File includes an updated graphics file (PCX), an updated template and a new example-map (map_106) that introduces you in some of the "new" stuff.
Put it in your jungle folder (overwrite -> yes).

If you want to share a map, that uses these "new" stuff that please don't forget that you have to put the jun.pcx file besinde the map (in a zip file for example). Because if the "player" hasn't the same pcx file as you, he couldn't see the "new" things (at this places he will nothing; clear blocks).

How do i made it? First i took screenshots of R1. Than i cut the "new things" and get them rid of the background. And then i've added them to the graphics file of RW/RD. It's not so easy because you can make a lot of mistakes.....and then the colors of the game will be messed up for example.

If you want some stuff from R1/R learning Center or whatever fit in Raymans world to the Mapper than please post high quality (not JPG!) screenshots of it. Than i will try to add the stuff...

Wait, is this also for Rayman Gold? because I have the game, but I have a windows XP and I'm desperate to play D8

I wish to hell I could get it to work on mine.

It would be so usefull for us at MKF having some of these tiles for making Rayman's World into a fangame called Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.

Great 8) Let me explain you then. I read that it was possible to modify the enemies' resistance, which means it's stored somewhere. In fact, I'd like someone to send me that file and tell me where their resistance is written. This way, I'll be able to set up a resistance scale for enemies on RayWiki.
This is the reason why I created this topic ;)
