Q: What's the main difference between later beta screenshots and final ones of R1, when we are on HUD? (I don't mean the one with 8HP and "nova", I mean one almost like final.)

The only differences I've noticed between the final version and the beta version shown in the 2nd and 3rd screenshot here ( scroll down to the backcover ), are that Rayman's head position a little lower than normal, and there is no "0" before a number of lives smaller than 10 ( example: normally it's "x09", but on the screens it would be "x9" ).

Q:
What's the very first difference you see on N64 and its emulators between R2 and other games using its engine (Donald Duck and Tonic Trouble)? Hint: I think it appears in most of ALL games for GameCube, PS2 and PS1 (not only platformers! not only Rayman games! most of ALL games!), but I'm not sure.
