There are people whose hobby is making sprites, maybe you could ask them on a spriters' forum.

JDogindy said: If you're looking for Hoodlum sprites, I can rip them from the GBA adaption of Rayman 3. There's only three types of grunts, but there's also a Hoodlum boss exlclusive here (Scalesman)

I had a feeling that Scaleman was a Hoodlum.

Anyway, how would you do Umber sprites? (Colossus in PS1 version of R2)

If you're intrested, i'm ripping the Rayman advance sprites and i'm going to try to rip all the boss sprites . If you have a Print Screen of the boss battle i'll rip the boss or enemy directly from the Print Screen.

Unfortunately, bosses are pixelated in Rayman Advance.

Welcome to the forums JDogindy. Feel free to introduce yourself here so that we can get to know you better.
I was going to mention using something like Rocky, but he is entirely different than the guardians. You see, Rocky is this stone figure who is a whole and has a stone bucket for a head. The guardians have their heads and arms seperate from the body.
The stone creature can also be known as Umber, or even Colossus. He certainly has many names.

He's talking about another stone creature ;)
Rocky is a boss in R3 for GBA, and he attacks you.
Umber/Colossus is a friendly stone colossus. He helps you across the lava in R2.

Now he just needed a sofa and some nice soda and a TV on his head and Rayman would cross the lava in a good way for hero's :P

Earlier in this thread, spiraldoor mentioned Foutch's appearance in the Ray-Type challenge minigame in Rayman Revolution.

Is it actually possible to play Revolution on an emulator, or are the avaliable PS2 emulators still limited in their compatability?
If they can play Revolution, someone should try and rip the 3D model of Foutch from Ray-Type challenge. (just a suggestion)

EDIT: Is the 3D model of Foutch used in that minigame, or are they actual sprites?

Well I think that at least for now it's impossible to play RR in a PS2 emulator... at least when I tried it, I couldn't even control Rayman. I could write my name on the menu to start a game and watching the intro. But in the moment of moving Rayman, he falls from the metal circle that he steps (Graphic Plugin bug to be fixed). 8S

PS2 emulation is still really early so we'd probably have to wait for at least a year for the emus to get better.

Hehe... what's really funny is that the same glitch happened to me when I played Rayman DS. I fell through the sliding section at the very start of the game!
