R4 Prototype music and sounds discovered!

Drolpiraat, maybe you should check some of the R2 files to see if you can find the entire 2D beta in there! Oh wait, R2 was developed by Montpellier, not Paris...damn...

I don't know, really. I'll have to look into it some more to say if they contain rippable things or not. ^^
Actually... I think... I think they do ( don't kill me if I'm wrong ). =D

Oh ****! I forgot about something!

WANTED:
Person who has:
-1) RRR1
-2) Modded Wii with old firmware
-3) DVD Recorder

FOR:
replacing one of first minigames with shark minigame and check would it work using Trucha Signer.

A great chance is that it won't work because of the engine of Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 not knowing how to deal with a replaced level... but if it works it would be the definition of :yeah:

It wouldn't probably work, but can give us some info. Also, I personally believe that all RRR minigames contain some executable code in level files (well, maybe excluding these that occur with big frequency).

BTW, "Globox" file can contain something about Globox children.

Globox could simply be the little elf children things. Otherwise Awesome scouting OP :D

Wait, if this means that RRR2 was based off of RRR1 (probably to quickly get the old motion controls used in RRR1, that'd be a waste of time to recode the waggling) why are the graphics for the models worse?
Also are the PS2 files for RRR1 segments or RRR2 segments? That'd be interesting if the game was originally going to be multiplatform.

I wonder if Ubisoft Paris left Rayman 2 code in Rayman 3 =P

It's probably that they had to lower the polygon count of the models because the disk was already full of videos ( yeah, if you didn't know, the background in the FPS levels in RRR2 are actually videos! ).
And um... I don't know about the PS2 files. They are in the wii version though, and that is enough proof of Ubisoft's laziness.

Rayman 2 code in Rayman 3? I think not.

Such a nice idea wasted on a party game...

Yeah the shooting games are so well done, not just the fact they used FMVs but the coding of it as well. If you shoot a plunger at wall or on the side of a car or something, it'll hit it the way its supposed to. It also has all of games biggest laugh out loud moments. If you can get RRR2 used for a good price, the shooting games are so worth it. I'm a big fan of most of the actual minigames as well, but I'm in the minority about that around here.

Hey i have a little info on R4...well kinda. its more of a hint. See in an interview talking about RRR3, they announced that Rayman is unplayable but insted only appears in cameos :x . BUT...the guy bein interviewed said,

"Rayman has more pressing and serious matters to attend to at the moment, ones that everyone will see soon enough"

SOUNDS LIKE RAYMAN 4 TO MEH!!!

He means IMAGINE: NO LIMBZ coming soon for the Nintendo DS!
EDIT- But at least Rayman is in RRR3, so I was right! I have so many people I need to go laugh at on the intertrons!

I dunno why you're all still calling it RRR3, everyone knows now that it's called TV Party. :|

And Kaos, a link to this interview if you please.
