Hmm, it saves the destroyed cages for me. :/
Re: Rayman 1
PS1 memory cards don't work on a Ps2, thus i'm not able to save my progress, unless by password...hugocool wrote:well, save the game on a memory card?

They do. I should know because I use one. You probably have it in the wrong slot, or your one is faulty. What model is your PS2 anyway? Is it the big bulky one from 2000 or the really slim one?

Re: Rayman 1
Ah, now this gets interesting. All I can rule out is that your memory card may be faulty, or full even. I use a Madcat 8-in-1 card for mine, which had never failed on my unlike some other 8-in-1s that, so I heard, get crappy. Try clearing some old files that aren't gonna be played anymore.

Re: Rayman 1
Acarr, start a new game and make sure to select "Use Memory Card", not "Use Password". If you start a new game under "Use Password" then it doesn't let you save.
BTW, the password for Candy Chateau is SWPN4K9KB6.
And I kind of like the idea of the Breakout Minigame being inside the present...but I think the present has some connection with Candy Chateau or Mr Dark, as it looks basically like a gigantic version of the presents held by the bombers in Mr Dark's Dare...

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!1 IT'S THE PRESENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a more serious note, at 8:01 in this video, there's some beta R1 footage that I'm not sure any of you have seen yet. Rayman has an electoon count in the top right corner, the Tarayzan level is different, there's a fist thing in the bottom left corner, and the Magician throws him a scroll...interesting...
And the Breakout minigame is seen at 1:37-ish in this video.
