Re: Rayman 1
While we're on about Rayman 1's jaguar version, I just heard that the ROM may have been leaked last Saturday.

There was a link to them, but it got removed by the mods. If anyone here has that BETA rom, please share.

Re: Rayman 1
When I load it it says "homebrew run address: 802000" or something, and below that it says "CRC: DDFF49FS". When you run these, they gotta be in a special ROMS folder inside your VJ folder.
When I get a good moment by myself [got the family round for dinner today] I'm gonna play for as far as it can take me.

Doesn't run for me on PT. Should I install Linux because of a proto?!

Re: Rayman 1
Ah right, so VJ's the way to go then. And that only seems to work when it wants to.
Edit: Found another glitch - somehow when you press left and right at the same time Rayman freezes into his YEAH pose.

Re: Rayman 1
VJ's been updated it seems, it's not the next one up but rather a Windows version of a revision they've worked on.
http://forums.ngemu.com/sdlemu-official ... aguar.html
I'm giving Rayman a good testing in this, so it runs like, silky smooth on my lappy. It has no sound at all though, and it will exit once in a while.
Back to the prototype, I tried it again in VJ 1.0.7 again and for some reason, the sound became almost listenable. o.0
Edit: Seems like VJ 1.1.0 is being planned.
Hope it'll be better.

Re: Rayman 1
Great.
Anyway, seems like we have got more trouble with mosquitoes then anytime before. Already existing mess + the next PS1 version = total chaos.

Re: Rayman 1
I tried to bid, but it seems this guy's put a lot on it therefore outbidding. And I don't really wanna spend too much on a bit of paper now that the exchange rates have gone up. x-x
Still, I've NEVER seen this before OMG. Oh well, let's hope that this guy will scan it for an atari community or something.
About the emu, well it still has the left and right glitch but thankfully it seems to actually save the game now. It's all just a case of being careful.

Re: Rayman 1
For all you know, the glitch could even be in the original Jaguar game as well, since you can't really press left and right at the same time with the controller.
I never knew that there was an intended 32x version. O_o;

Re: Rayman 1
Even though the 32x looks quite shit Rayman would have been kickass on it because I love the Sega's sound chip <3 There was gonna be a 3D0 version too [some console that was like the Sega CD, played games like Sewer Shark etc].

Re: Rayman 1
I saved the photo of it at least. I can only hope it's an Atari fan bidding on it and that he'll contribute to a site like Justclaws.
