Rayman 3 scores

While playing Rayman 3 I usually ignore people shouting at me. I prevents me from mucking up important combos.

Hehe, I should lock up my room next time.
@Xenon: That must be had weird, like my experience. BTW, I forgot, which level are you playin' now?
@sfn: Could you send me the PM now please?

I haven't actually played the game in ages now, it must have been a few weeks. Don't worry though, I'm just having a small break to relieve me of all this Masterkaag business. I'll be playing the game again shortly

Ah, ok, I can understand. I count this Combo to the 5 most horrible combos and I'm able to relate your deciding. Well, I decided I plague me only until 108.000, for more I had no nerves more for this.
It's because I plague me better with the Razoff-Glitch or the Matuvu Combos in FC or the shoe combo in LS than in SBTC :)

My top 5 are, in order:

  • SBTC green gem combo
  • LS combo hitting shoe 10 times
  • Razoff glitch
  • Warehouse combo (yeah, it's weird that I struggle so hard with this one...)
  • The 3-Matuvu Combo

My ones are ( At the top the most horrible and at the bottom the 5th-horrible Combo)

- SBTC Green Gem Combo
- Razoff-Glitch
- FC, Part 4, The Matuvu Combo
- LS Shoe Combo
- Master Kaag Combo

@mostwanted: I've sent you the PM.

I can't name the five hardest combos because my list would change regularly but the hardest is definitely the Razoff-glitch, considering how many time I spent not managing it.

Yeah, thank you.
The 4 first combos are for me the generally hardest combos, but the 5th change everytime.
Hmm, I'll try to increase my score, but I've got indeed far over 800.000 again. Yeah!

My top 5:

1. The Razoff Triple glitch
2. The green gem in SBTC part 3
3. The Shoe-Matuvu Combo in LS part 1
4. The extended 3 Matuvu Combo in FC part 3
5. The extended Long Combo in BOM part 3

As for me, it actually depends who is talking; I always pause the game if it's a girlfriend (yeah, I'm the kind that changes... rather often :oops2:).

When I see your lists of the hardest combos, I feel quite ridiculous, for I have never even tried any of them. By the way, what's so hard with the green gem in SBTC? Not missing it in the air?

As concerns TOTL, I don't think the first combo should take me too long. I'm a bit lost with the gems you have to collect at the beginning, but once in the battle, I find it quite easy (converting the black lums at the right moment is perfect to keep the combo against the elite hoodblasters), except for the hoodstormer at the end, as it does always take me ages to get rid of it. I may not have time to play before a week, but I'd really appreciate it if you could upload your video, mostwanted ;)

Yeah, of course. First I have to boost my iPAQ, because it's 2 % ( :P ), and then I upload it. I think I make also an 2 variante, that should be a bit harder, then you can choose between these two
And really, we find this green gem not so sypathic, because it hangs so stupid in the air and it's a real challenge, to get him (already without combo, that's hard enough).

EDIT: I still don't have the patience to play SBTC more. I stopped and I began to play LS. I saved the option play SBTC further, because 87.000 after Part 2 aren't a bad achievement. But when I get an outrageous score in LS after Part 1, I finish LS.

I was actually asking what the difference was, not how many points you could get ^^ Anyway, I think I'll have time to play very soon, so I hope you quickly upload your video ;)

There are three versions of the combo:

The first one takes 18 yellow gems before the first Hoodblaster, it's worth 23000 points. The second version takes about 23 gems and is worth 24200 points and the third one takes all the gems (26 or 27), it is probably worth about 24500 but I don't know for sure as I've never managed it. I would advise to do the second version as it's more than enough for the maximum and you won't have big troubles succeeding in it.

Thank you!
If I'm not mistaken, getting the gems is the hardest part of the combo. And I guess that after some practice, it shouldn't be too hard. I'm looking forward to seeing how you get the hoodblaster in combo though, because it always dodges my first strafed hits.

To me the hardest part is in the end of the combo, namely the fourth Hoodmonger Officer and especially the Hoodlifter. The first Hoodblaster needs to stand close to the ledge, otherwise you can't hit him. Timing is also important, if you are too quick, the strafed shot misses.
