I thought it was. Xenon didn't use his mighty mod powers against you as revenge. I thought he would.

I think TSOSAF is the most brillant Rayman level in all games. It has a breathtaking magical atmosphere, the temples are beautiful, the sound is fantastic as it greatly adds to the atmosphere and the gameplay is more complex than in any other Rayman level and incredibly well-thought-out. It's probably the only level that gives me a special feeling everytime I play it and everytime I play R2 or Revolution I'm looking forward to playing it from the beginning of the game.

But I can understand those people who hate it. After I played R2 for the first time it was also my least favorite level and everytime I wanted to replay the game, I stopped before TSOSAF. It took me years to appreciate the magic of this level.

I agree with Hunchman and sjm although beating it on PC was a nightmare. The shell-riding part drove me insane.

Very good level. Just beautiful, mysterious, scary.. although it is pretty hard.

I can only say that, what the other had said: It's an awesome level, and the length of the level make it first so interesting.
It's mystic, the sound is not to overbid, and the ambience there is fantastic.
First I hated it, and it was so frustating. It tooks me a while to complete this stage, but I learned to love this level, to say it easily.
Alltogether you can say, when you have no problems there, it's one of the best level in the whole Rayman-Game-History :P

Yeah i know its a great long and nice level... first i couldnt find the hole in the wall (that one when you have to move a plum to that circle door) where the last cage was, it was well hidden!!

Yeah, I asked me really often, where the last cage is. But then I noticed that strange looking hole and I found it. That's only one of the mystic places in TSOSAF.

I think the PS1 Version of the Sactuary of Stone and Fire was the most intresting version.

This is really creepy that there is a green one-eyed ball monster that you must fight against. They should be in The cave of bad dreams, and it is strange that there is one in this level... :S But the shell-riding part makes me confused in the half-loop with the red lums! It seams that the shell runs upside down until you see the platforms and then the shell is on the floor again! Or maybe it is a whole-loop?

Indeed. I also remember that you die if you jump during the loop.

It was again one passage, where I can say, that there was a good challenge. I liked too the room with the 3 doors (where the spiders are coming).

Isn't it the only level with tiny spiders too? They're awesome as well.

Nope, Tomb of the Ancients has them too. But yeah, they're really cool. They scare the crap out of me sometimes though.

Really? I only remember huge spiders in the Tomb of the Ancients. I haven't played it in ages though. By the way, what's funny is that both tiny and huge spiders give one red lums when killed.

Well, maybe not in Rayman 2, but in Revolution there are definitely tiny ones in the tomb of the ancients.
