I read about people who find balloons appealing and...er...have sex around them them because they like it when they pop. :lestfou: Even when blindfolded.

I was bored in the dentist and I picked up a magazine, ok??

Know, that's an attraction. A fetish would be something like having a turn on from seeing feet.
I've always considered attractions to just be fetishes for the mind myself.
Like an intellectual fetish. A fetish with a doctorate degree, if you will.

Ugh
Dolphins I can (in a small way) understand. But horses?

I think if someone my age were to list my interests on this forum, any respect at all I have from folk (not sure if I have any anyway) would be lost.

A guy in my class had that on his phone. But I didn't see it. And I don't want to. :|

You know, the only animals I've seen that no one has a fetish for are:

Great White Sharks
Ostriches
Rhinos
Mice
Rats
Bats
Spiders

Those are the only ones I can think of.

Cross spiders off your list, one of my best friends is 'turned on' by the spiders' 'creeing' motion.

I don't understand why some people are afraid of spiders anyway. They're tiny creatures who aren't out to harm us. In fact they eat wasps and other insects so as far as I'm concerned, they're helping us.

Still, they can be dangerous. Every spider has some venom in them, and some spiders have venom that can kill.

House spiders are totally harmless though, so I don't see why people are afraid of them. I remember some of the girls in my old classes wouldn't even dare go anywhere near them. They wouldn't dare be in the same room as one - when they saw one on one of the windows, they used to flutter about like headless chickens. It's just silly. My sister was (or is I suppose) similar in a way. During the summer our shed becomes full of spiders and their webs, there must have been about fifteen. I asked her to go and fetch me a bucket which normally lives in the corner, and she wouldn't dare enter the shed at all. And yet the spiders always reside either on the ceiling or in the cracks - nowhere near where the bucket was. In my opinion it's just silly how people can be shit scared of such harmless creatures. They can't move quickly either.

They're still creepy.

BTW, did you know the Cellar Spider, (not to be confused with the Daddy Long Leg) one of the most common house spiders, has the most dangerous venom of all spiders? The only reason why they aren't dangerous to humans is because their fangs aren't strong enough to penetrate human skin.

That's bullshit urban legend. There are only a handfull of spider species in the world with venom potent enough to harm non-allergic humans, and the so-called "cellar spider" is not among them. the cellar spider is not even a real spider specie, but rather a collective term for a large number of arachnids living in basements and cellars around the world.

If you sleep with your mouth open, spiders walk in and you swallow them without realising. Fact.
