I don't need them for 99999 at all and they just make it more difficult for me, so I'll stick with the basic method which doesn't give me real troubles. In fact, I find the green gem in the end at least as difficult.
It's funny that you find the green gem combo harder than the main combo because even using the original method I find it to be far more challenging than taking the green gem for 9000. I used your method by the way, so thanks a lot for introducing it a few months ago. It's all about jumping really so as long as you don't bugger up the timing of the jumps it should work on most attempts. At least it did for me.

However, if we can combo the Matuvu in part 1 after the 6 gems or make an extended combo in Begoniax's library or somehow include the piggy bank and the yellow gems in the tree hole into the big combo in part 2 we might be able to get more than that. With two of these things even a score of 45000+ after part 3 would be possible.
I think that's possible too, yeah. I've just realised that I actually lost 120 points in part 3 because I used your method (which involved taking one of the red gems third) plus the 8 points I lost by Hoodblaster shots, swimming and whatnot. According to my calculations, the maximum score possible in part 3 is exactly 31,400. In part 2, I think it's possible to get 10,620 points in part 2 providing there are six yellow gems in the hole. And in part 1, we'll say 2840 for now. So, altogether this makes 44,860 points. We'd only need another 140 points.

I'm not sure if it's possible because the only thing that would continue the combo is the Spinneroo, and that is destroyed before you proceed to the Meadowscrews and Slapdashes. There might be an alternative way to do the combo though so I could be wrong too.
Jona wrote:In the third big combo with the Vortex, snowman and Hoodboom where you jump to the balloons, I saw him jumping to the second highest balloon in the vid he made for that combo. I jumped off as far as I could, and it wasn't even close to that balloon. Well the camera does change in an annoying way there and maybe I just didn't do it right, but still... I barely even reached the third balloon!
Really? Hehe, I found that one pretty easy. If my memory serves me correct, you needed to defeat the Hoodboom JUST before you jump off the cliff. It was pretty tight but I made it within what I consider good time. I struggled massively with the previous combo, though!

@ MandM or anyone else who can help: I've finished part 4 now as well, and I have 65781 points. I've checked your video and I notice you start the scene by hitting Razoff twice nine times. I already have a problem here, because I simply cannot do this... at all. It took twenty restarts before I decided to stop. What's your secret?
Something else interesting: I played around in his mansion for a bit because I got bored so I decided to test the Razoff glitch. The first time, the double glitch occured but the second time nothing. I wonder, how often does the double glitch occur for others?
