I'm still trying to figure out how to rip the backgrounds and sprites from the data, but I'm closer to ripping them now.

We can see the real pictures behind that thing, by the way. I'm sure it's possible to extract them, but how?

There's still a problem with file headers which prevents us from ripping all textures from the game. And I have no idea where those headers are stored

So basically, I can rip normal images ( not sprites, because the program I use doesn't support picking palettes ) from R1 for PS1 now. I can also rip backgrounds, but I have to put them together, and it takes quite a lot of time. So stay tuned for more backgrounds!^^

Maybe it's a version thingy? Drol, do you have the NTSC ISO? Me and Stacey would have the PAL version.

I downloaded an R2 DC ISO in BIN + CUE format, and while I was fooling around with nullDC in an unsuccessful attempt to get it to work, I tried converting the BIN to an ISO, and mounting the ISO on a virtual drive. Needless to say, nullDC didn't run the ISO.
HOWEVER...I took a look at the files in the ISO, searched through all the folders and everything, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could actually rip some of the images. Here they are:
I'm not sure if I've done something of note or not, but, well, there it is.
There were also a few WAVE audio files. It wouldn't let me play some of them; it said I needed the audio codec. But others worked. But there are only a few, and nothing that isn't on RayTunes.
I also found a link to the rayman2dc.com website, and the main page of site came up, but there was hardly anything on it, and when I tried to enter the site itself I found it to be completely...dead. Gone. Not there at all.
There are all sorts of other files, if anyone wants them, I can provide...
