... rip of your faces and use them as napkins :P

Anyway, i can help too with programming, and some graphical work. But i think we first should have a concept.

By the way, i use Game Maker 5.3A, if would be nice if we do it in 2D, i can't run GM 7 in Wine :(

SPOILER WARNING!

How i think the R3 ending could have been improved:

1. The flight part should have a better looking background. Maybe a darker and more dramatic one.
2. The first battle part and the flight part should have switched music. That would give the flight part a more "final battle" feel.
3. Before Rayman and Globox falls down, there should be a scene where you'd see black lums all over the world transform back to red lums. It should have this music.
4. The credits should use bigger, cooler text, and have this music (without sound effects of course).

Just my opinion.

I'd say most if not all active members here have played R3, so don't worry about spoiling.

Yes, but they might not have played it through. I think it would be a shame if the storyline is spoiled, because i think it's pretty good.

I haven't played all the way through Rayman 2  Yet.

Reflux was a bitch at the end.

It would have been better if, instead of freezing and shattering, the weakened Reflux jumped at Rayman and Globox in their Armaguiddon and they fell off the Tower of the Leptys together and fought all the way down. And as they hurt Reflux while they fall, the Sceptre goes crazy and starts burning white-hot, so by the time they reach the ground it's hot enough to evaporate the earth as they fall, and they fall deeper and deeper into a tunnel of lava, and eventually they hurt Reflux enough that the Sceptre explodes, blasting Rayman and Globox all the way up into the air so they land back where they were at the start of the game and incinerating Reflux and entombing him and the Sceptre under many miles of rock.

By the way, spiral, you mentioned one these yellow gems in Rayman 3. Where are they exactly and could you maybe show a screenshot? Or was that a joke?

In Hoodlum Headquarters, you know the part where you hold a ball thing while you walk across a bridge with red stuff on either side of it? And then a Hoodlum accidentally shoots himself in the head? Well, after he shoots himself, keep walking until you get to the other side of the bridge. Then turn around and go into first-person mode and look into that crack in the wall that the targets are going into (or coming out of, I can't remember which...). There are at least three yellow gems in there, but I have no idea how to get them. They're in the Gamecube version, but I don't think they're in the others, as nobody but me seems to have seen them.

Ah, okay then. Maybe I will go to this place again, because I didn't look closely enough, although I'm playin' on PC.

They're certainly not available to PS2 players because you can't even see them. Besides, I reckon they are actually gems from the previous room, not new ones that are undiscovered. It's a nice thought though.

I don't think they're from a previous room. If they were, I would have been able to get them and I wouldn't have been able to see them then. And they appear to be floating in blackness. And if they're in another room, that means the targets can be seen from another room too.

Not necessarily, Rayman could be too distant from them.
How many are there? It would be awesome if you could provide a screenshot.

I only saw three, but there could be more. I'm downloading the Gamecube ISO now, I'll give it a go in Dolphin when it's done and see if I can make a screenshot.

In the X-Box version you can see the aggregate that carried Globox away in room 1 part 2. No gems.

Hmm, but I actually wonder, when you could reach these gems and there would be a secret room, maybe it would be possible to reach 100.000 just after Part 2.

I seriously doubt there is a missing secret room there. And even if it were possible to reach 100.000 points after part 2, it would still be the same max. score, right? :|
