Anyway, he definitely is of mixed race, I heard it many times. So in my opinion it's better to say 'the first president who is not white', than 'the first black president'.
 
Personally I have no opinion on Obama, mainly because I didn't bother caring for the presidential election this time. All I hoped for was a better president than Bush and that was it.
 
I think the weeks and months soon after he has been appointed the role of president will determine many peoples views about him. I.e, his actions on tackling the Financial crisis that is sweeping America, and indeed the World.
 
It'll take some time. Not much Obama can do, but we have to help him help us get out of this mess.
 
I don't know. Just try to support him as much as he can. Because, he was left to clean up Bush's mess. But, I dunno.
 
Yeah, and without Bush we would live in a truely other world. Man, if Al Gore would have been elected in 2000 solar power would be the standard right now. Altough we here in Europe should do more too, but if we unite our force's we can do a lot more.

And same here in Belgium, our previous minister really made a big mess and wasted 2 years, well, he got kicked out, and now we have a good minister again, fortunatily.

Or he could have fucked up even more than Bush. You never know and it doesn't matter now.
 
Matyuv is right, there could be other presidents that could be worse than bush. Bush simply was doing fine, but took the crappiest advice ever and went through with it. Saw that he did wrong, but didn't really CONFRONT us.

I sure hope Obama does well, under these extreme circumstances.

It's funny how Bush always struggled with his speeches. He made so many conspicuous errors...

Anyhow, I know I haven't been around PC that often recently, but hopefully that will change. Right now though I am gonna be gonna be gone for the next week or so, so that I can catch up on a lot of work that I have missed from when I had the flu. So hopefully I will be back be next week, but right now I can't spend much time at PC. I have entered the most recent signatures into the competition and I will be back to enter the rest way before this month is over. :D So see yall around.
