Top 10 coolest (playable) game characters.

I guess I should check this topic more often. Well, I'm not getting into this sterile debate, so I'll try to answer spiral's questions from scratch.

First, as concerns the trash can:

Why isn't it visible?
Most topics moved to the trash can are short, useless and uninteresting, and any normally constituted member would see no interest in reading them. It's not really a place for pure spam, which we usually delete, unless we want to keep the IP address somewhere, nor a subforum where all locked topics are to be sent, because some of them may still be interesting to read.

Why are there still a bunch of locked spam topics not in it?
Probably because moderators are only humans and sometimes forget about them. If I'm not mistaken, two topics out of the three you mentioned were posted in the Guests forum, which is a bit of a lawless area, to my great dismay, and I can understand why people hardly care about it. It, however, serves it purpose, as it recently helped Dango to get his account back, which you can consider either an advantage or a disadvantage

There are a whole bunch of ancient threads that I'd like to post in, but I can't, because it's "bumping", which is "annoying".
As far as I know, there is no time limit for bumping an old topic, as long as it isn't a deliberate attempt to get more posts. On the contrary, I'd rather see an old quality topic bumped than a new one created instead.

As for the games subforum, I'm ready to listen to your arguments, but I don't think it's really needed. I see nothing wrong with posting a topic for each game in the Off-Topic forum actually. You need to realise that the division of a message board into categories, forums and subforums is to be decided in function of its size. For example, when noobs create a board, they usually divide it into a lot of forums, sometimes more than 15, which is only suitable for boards over one or two million messages. People who visit PC rarely bother checking every forum, this is why it's not worth creating a games subforum if it doesn't get an activity of 15% of the Off-Topic forum.

Thank you Hunch for trying to explain it to him.

This is getting an endless discussion about who of you two is right. Why not make a poll? Then everyone can give their opinion. You aren't the only two members on this board, so stop acting like you are.

No, i am not trying to mini moderate here, i just think you two have gone far off topic.
As far as I'm concerned as long as an argument is constructive it's welcome. It isn't obstructing any nice discussions anywhere, either. Now I appreciate not being told what to do by ordinary members like yourself - you know I don't take orders.

But you guys only disagree because you want a subforum, if you're honest. If a subforum is added at least make it topical of something important.

Sure Hunch, just pop in and disagree with everyone. :P
My job as an admin is not to agree with anyone, but to make the right decisions so that PC not only remains the best Rayman community, but also gets better and better. Now, I've just formulated my point of view, and nothing prevents you from telling me why you think I'm wrong.

Okay, that's probably the best.
Back on topic folks!

Whoa thats alot
These are mine: Rayman, Jack Sparrow, Samus (ignoring the fact she is a girl)

And i know Samus sucks... but the title says PLAYABLE game characters....

Personally I didn't think Jack Sparrow was a great game character. A good movie character maybe, but my friend and I played the POTC console game once and we were both disappointed (mainly because of the limited moves). Most movie-games suck in my opinion anyway.

Indeed, there are some movies that are made into games and I can't even possibly imagine how.

You know they made a Smarties game? As in, the small round chocolate things?

I think i've heard of that. I know movie games are usually crap but I don't know about games based on food. :P

heres a good game idea: rayman kills all the rabbids and the world is saved from the rabbids' stupidity and ubisoft is deprived of rayman and rayman moves to a different, better game company. mayby insomniac or frontier.
