Movies you just recently watched

Or, like in case of Pixar movies, "we don't make sequel just because people liked the first movie, but we think they would came for 2nd one even if the first one didn't exist".

Sequels only work if they were originally intending for there to be a sequel.
Like Toy Story 2. Awesome movie. Creepy and kind of weird, but awesome, er orsum.

Toy Story 2 was awful. :?
And I'm pretty sure when they made the first one they weren't intending for it to have a sequel.

The intention of sequel isn't all. You actually need to make sequel good movie on its own. Have you watched any of Olsen Gang movies? I watched 6 of 14 movies and they were so funny that you didn't expect it knowing they were all continuations.

all sequels suck exept the lord of the rings the two towers

The Two Towers and Return of the King weren't sequels to The Fellowship of the Ring, as all three movies were planned, written and filmed at the same time. They were released as three separate movies because the book The Lord of the Rings is split into three books (well, six, really).

Apparently a third one is in production.

Not all Disney sequels suck, though the majority does. The Lion King 2 was a fine movie on its own. But that's also the only decent Disney-sequel I can think of right now.

Toy Story 2 was good, I think it's better than the first one q: I'm not sure whether I like the idea of a third one or not. Lion King is awesome. :D

Actually Lion King 2 was the one I had in mind. Perhaps one of the only improvements as far as sequels go, I say.

Toy Story 2 was almost as good as the first one (seriously, why does a family movie about personified toys have to be so dramatic?) though I did like the quicker pace and how genuinely funny it could be.

Watched Osmosis Jones earlier today, man that was like one of my fave films when I was a teen. And today it's still great.

I watched La Vita è Bella and The Diary of Anne Frank two days ago. Both were very good movies.
