Ah thank you. I actually found a site selling old copies of "Amazing Learning Games with Rayman" so I guess it's not vaporware.

Haha, if I hadn't seen your youtube videos I would have still been ignoring these games.

Does anyone know what Rayman Premier Clics is?
What do you do in this? Paint pictures only? Is this worth playing at all? It just looks like a funpack thing.

That's funny, today I downloaded a trial version of that. :D

Well Rayman Premier Clics is a game to very young children, especially for those who are beggining to interact with computers. It makes children motivate to explore with the mouse and to do some simple exercises (Way simple for us of course. ).

Is there any voice acting and stuff? Typical point and clicks tend to have it bad when it's for little kids. :}

The game is available itself with 4 languages, all voiced in their own language: French, Italian, German and Spanish. You listen Rayman and Gluttons (Globoxes as Rayman refered on the game) speaking to you, but nicely done.

Well Learning with Rayman for PC is on it's way, and I'll probably load it up in Dosbox, but I went ahead and bought Rayman Activity center for a dollar off of Ebay as well, just to see what it is, whether it has levels or not.

I remember seeing most of these learning games in the software stores in 1996 for cheap on shelves, but I never asked my dad to buy them for me (I was 11 then). But I guess turning into a game collector and follower of video game designers, I can bother with kids games now without guilt.

Try being 14 in 2001 and asking for Rayman Junior at a game store. :P Certainly can't do that now unless I'm a parent.

Haha, yeah, the beauty of the internet is I can buy anything embarrassing that I want without interacting with a real person at all.

You should have said you were buying the game for your little brother for his birthday, that's what I may have done. :)

I do remember buying Rayman 2 for PC just because it was $5 at a Toys 'r' Us when I was in high school and one of the clerks was looking at me weird and sort of making fun of the game, but then a different clerk got really defensive and said, "No! That is a good game! I love Rayman." It was a bizarre moment. I wasn't really in a Toys 'R' Us in a good part of town either.

I also remind to try the Learning French with Rayman DEMO in 2004. I didn't understood a pain of French as I didn't know which surprise was waiting for me if I had wrong answers. Jumping of the chair with mishap of the creepy deaths made me on that time getting somewhat traumatized.

Maths and English with Rayman traumatized me and my Dad mocked me about it.

Read the post again carefully. The first time I saw an evil nenuphar, it warped me for life!

Unless you're in HMV. :P I bought one 2 years ago and the guy behind the counter didn't give a shit. And my 14 year-old mate bought an 18-rated movie there, without even a raise of an eyebrow. ^^

That's a normal thing that happens on Portuguese gaming stores.

That's technically legal in Britain due to a loophole, and apparently has been so for many years. It's the same for games. Lol.

Well, that was certainly interesting, why they've never released this outside of France or possibly Canada I don't know. And lol those humans.
BTW, do you use Snagit? That might help you take some screens of it in-game.

It isn't necessary Stacey, the PrintScreen button does the job. :D
