The way syntheticgerbil said it made it sound like a species.

I already said that Angus was the name of the Moskito in Anguish Lagoon!

Re: Old magazines with articles about Rayman 1?
I think that the one in Anguish Lagoon is the same as the one in Moskito's Nest.
Re: Old magazines with articles about Rayman 1?
And why is the one in Moskito's Nest red in the PSOne version then?
Re: Old magazines with articles about Rayman 1?
They can't be the same Moskito because the first one befriends Rayman before the second one fights him.

That's right.MrBadGuy99 wrote:They can't be the same Moskito because the first one befriends Rayman before the second one fights him.
What is wierd is that on PC version, Moskito isn't red, but it is equal to Bzzit.

That was a mistake, I bet!
Of course, Spiral thinks it's the other way round, but almost no-one agrees with him.

Because the area you fight him in is reddish and the light reflects on him. Later versions changed this, anyway.Drolpiraat wrote:And why is the one in Moskito's Nest red in the PSOne version then?
~The Moskito who chases you through Moskito's Nest with a giant fruit is the pink one in the PS1 version, by the way.
He chases him through Moskito's Nest and arguably fights his head attached to a Space Mama's body and Mr Stone's feet at the end of Candy Chateau.MrBadGuy99 wrote:They can't be the same Moskito because the first one befriends Rayman before the second one fights him.

And he is pink in the PS1 version, the Saturn version, the DOS version, the GBA version and the...hmm...there are no other versions.
I should have stopped typing slightly earlier...

Have you ever even played the Saturn version? I haven't.

Me neither. And I also never played the Jaguar version.

Re: Old magazines with articles about Rayman 1?
From what I've seen, it lacks changes found in the PlayStation version, such as the sinking flowers having orange bowties, the present on the map, the redbook music tracks, and so on. So, I am reasonably certain that Moskito is pink in it.PluMGMK wrote:Have you ever even played the Saturn version? I haven't.

When I get another copy of the game on Saturn I'll be certain to record my own footage.

Good luck then, I would like to see it after.StaceyW wrote:When I get another copy of the game on Saturn I'll be certain to record my own footage.

A video walkthrough like what you did with Rayman Junior would be good.StaceyW wrote:When I get another copy of the game on Saturn I'll be certain to record my own footage.

Really? The PC version has redbook music. The Saturn version has redbook-quality music so I would have thought it had Redbook music.spiraldoor wrote:the redbook music tracks, and so on.
Ah, but it has multicoloured spiky fruit! Do you think that's a mistake too?spiraldoor wrote:So, I am reasonably certain that Moskito is pink in it.

Re: Old magazines with articles about Rayman 1?
I was talking about the redbook tracks that are exclusive to the PS1 version, which I listed in the RayTunes subforum. And didn't think that the Saturn version had multicoloured spiky fruit.PluMGMK wrote:Really? The PC version has redbook music.
