When you die repeatedly in Mr. Stone's Peaks because you don't realise that you have to break the rock and get the Super Helicopter.
 
When Rayman swallos André, and André, like he did when inside Globox, tries to fly away. Of course, Rayman's head is much lighter, thus André succeeds. Years later, A strange hoodlum with Rayman's head appears (or perhaps Bad Rayman or Dark Rayman), and Rayman has been blind, mute, deaf, etcetera all the time...
