I'd swap yellow lums with purple lums here, as yellow lums seem to have a small role in R2.
 
No, its:
-Yellow
-Blue and Red share a level
-Green

The first one is definite, but the other two are my opinion.
 
Why would green be the most significant? Silver Lums bestow some sort of magical power upon Rayman... they should definitely be top.

Anyway, the Lums Knowledge clearly states that Yellow Lums are the most important.
 
My order is very different to yours.

  1. Silver
  2. Superyellow
  3. Purple
  4. Red
  5. Green
  6. Blue
  7. Yellow

Although yellow Lums collectively build the Heart of the World, they're very common and hold hardly any power individually. Silver Lums, on the other hand, are a rarity and contain great levels of power. What's the "Lums Knowledge", by the way?
 
I suppose it all depends on what's defined as 'importance'. If you consider how they help Rayman in his journey, then the yellow lums large and small are the most useless since aside from fully completing the game they don't physically help Rayman on his journey other than act as beacons, and occationally paying the way through the hall of doors. Where as the red, purple, green, silver and blue lums all help rayman in some way be it giving him energy/powers, helping him traverse obstacles or save his progress.

However if you think about power in relation to the story, then it's the coloured lums that do little in the grand sceme of the plot whereas the yellow lums are the soul key to saving the world.

Then there's rarity. In which case yellow lums would be bottom and silver ones at the top

Oxygen is abundant in the atmosphere, but it's nonetheless very important to inhale oxygen now and then, as you have probably noticed if you've ever tried holding your breath for extended periods of time. Gold, on the other hand, is very rare, yet if you inhale relatively small quantities of gold you get heavy metal poisoning...

My point? Ehm... I'm not sure. :P
 
Yellow lums created the blue, purple and red lums; all four types contributed to the creation of Polokus, and presumably the other gods; Polokus created most other things...perhaps I'll make an amusing family tree...

Jano, Axel, Foutch, Chenille and Grolem 13 should definitely not be considered morally neutral - they may not be part of the pirate army but they try to kill Rayman! We could easily add Colossus as a good character though.
