Rayman Demos and Betas

In the R2 beta video where Rayman turns 3D, you can see Rayman throwing his fists at one point if you look closely. The fists behave the same as his shot does in the final game from what I can tell.

I've seen that. I wish there was a rayman 2 3d beta somewhere on the internet.
@ANYONE WHO WANTS THE RAYMAN 2 2D beta
if you have the ps1 version of rayman 2, and you finish the game with more than 90 % of the lums, then at the end of the credits a message appears, and then a loading screen of rayman pointing through some door and you see a forest through the door. then after the loading you go to a beta level of rayman2 2d and you can press square after punching to stop your hand and be able to aim it, and you can punch this floating platforms and place them where you please. there is shower drains that you jump on, and then you go into the backdrop. there is also a cannon that shoots goo into the back drop, which can be used as hand holds. also there's a tyrannsoar that you can jump on and smash it's head and then use as a platform.
sorry about the bad spelling, late at night. there's a YouTube video of the one level 2d rayman 2 beta somewhere on YouTube. plus the level has a playgroundish feel to it, no objective. there is a "next area sign" but when you touch it, it gives you a quit beta or restart.
 
That's what MasterRay thought, but we searched the spritepackage (POR) and it was the same in every world. :( They probably are connected though.
 
If the stone head is something from the Blue Mountains, the pink one could be something from Picture City, or perhaps Candy Chateau. There could e one for every world.
 
Yeah, has anyone saved it?

By the way, I hope MasterHero will soon post the uncropped pictures :)
 
UGGHHH! The Extended RD Editor was made by MasterHero, and contributed to by the Betilla's Gardens members. There is a topic on this forum where you can download it.

Yes that is because of the color-plaette in the image world. Some pieses of the portal change the color to the colors of the world palette. It looks best in the mountain world but its no prove that the portal belong to the mountain world, because the colors-palettes in RD are a bit messed up (not the same as in Rayman 1).
 
The Cave and Mountain palettes are so different that different spritepackages have to be used for rocks.

There's the portal, the giant head, the beta cloud and the giant lava ball. Is there anything else worth taking a snapshot?
 
There's this weird EEG-like thing. I have no idea what it is.

Also, the stonehead was put in the Mapper by MasterHero, and not in the sprite files.
