I believe "Kage" is the Japanese for Dark.

I'm not saying kage isn't, but yami definitely is a Japanese word for "dark".

Wrong, Kage means shadow ! Yami means dark, but YamiRayman probably picked that username up because Yami is the name of a Yu Gi Oh character...

I agree. 影 (kage) is the shadow and 闇 (yami) is darkness or the dark.
