[RIPPING] 2D Rayman Sprites and Backgrounds

There's a small problem with them, the sprites always have a colored outline around them, with many different shades so it's hard to get rid of. Other than that they're fantastic.

Does anybody realy need these sprites?

People making Rayman 1 fan games (COUGH COUGH rayfan9876's 2D version of Rayman 1.5) could really use them.

Awesome work, MasterHero. Unfortunately, I doubt they can be of much use because of their bad quality :(

These are already on my site, but I figured I'd post them anyway for those who haven't seen them yet.

The first three are Rayman 3, but Globox is from Hoodlum's Revenge.

Yeah, you need to find the version of Texture Finder that has palette support. If you want, I could upload that tomorrow ( but I REALLY have to go to bed now, so I can't do it now ). ;)

I think I actually already ripped all of the tiles. Wait a minute, I'll upload them.
EDIT -> http://www.mediafire.com/?4jnzzmyotdw
Here they are, BMP's in a ZIP file. As you can see, there are multiple versions of the same tilesheet in the same file, but with different palettes. That's because all the tiles require different palettes, and you have to put them together. :(
It could be that I forgot to rip one palette version, then just tell me. ;)

However, I think there might be more images in the versions with the numbers on the end because if you open JUN01.XXX and uncheck vertical flip and set to 8bit palette, you can make out some objects like the animated flower and the floating lily (i think). Here's a screenshot to show you what I mean: http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/2040/captureiu.png
I don't think that's a tile file then. :?

If you would prefer, you can get the tiles from Rayman Designer with a PCX editor like IrfanView.

Those aren't tile files. You asked for the tile files. :P
Those are the world-specific sprite files.
