Well then only Droolie will be able to tell us what happened to those poor sprites.

Re: Rayman PSP Homebrew
Who knows... Then we'll have to extract those from the PC version instead. But well, it's a minor problem since it does actually come from the tilesheets themselves, so I guess we should move on to more important stuffEquilibrium369 wrote:Maybe since the object was only used once in the game it was considered less important and they forgot to finalise or something for the PS1 game

Re: Rayman PSP Homebrew
I see what you mean, Hunch. I probably chose a wrong palette for ripping that particular tilesheet. I'll take a quick look at it now.

What do you mean stupid remarks? I was just pointing something out. For me it looks fine, and I can't see any bad quality.Hunchman801 wrote:No, but graphic quality is very important and I'm sure Equilibrium will agree. Now if all you can bring to this topic is non-constructive criticism and thoroughly stupid remarks, I strongly recommend that you keep them for yourself.bunnieblaster wrote:Come on, the game doesn't have to be exactly like the original...
About the editor:
Great, but why can't I re-select an older object?

Re: Rayman PSP Homebrew
By the way, I think it's just like that in the PS1 version, because the only palette that works in that file gives me those results.

Re: Rayman PSP Homebrew
I just had the idea of trying to see if it's the same in the Saturn version, but the best I can get from the Saturn version in Texture Finder is horrible trippy pictures and palettes that just never seem to fit. Oh well. -_-
Anyway, good luck!

Re: Rayman PSP Homebrew
Iffen I remember it correctly, the Saturn uses a 15 bit BGR palette in big-endian format. Might be the cause of said "trippiness".Drolpiraat wrote:I just had the idea of trying to see if it's the same in the Saturn version, but the best I can get from the Saturn version in Texture Finder is horrible trippy pictures and palettes that just never seem to fit. Re: Rayman PSP Homebrew
i've seen this sign before, but actually never in-game :S
good luck tho, in your game it could be for a bonus lvl or something tho. Or some special level, you're the designer

True, it is the designer. The music sign had no purpose in R1. I do remember seeing it though.
