I didn't notice the aura on Axel.

did someone want a razorbeard pic? well here it is!
Image

in the other versions I own ( ps1&ps2), I never noticed the gloves or the blue striped shirt..

just finished the precipice, top of the world is present in this version. :D
This port is what happens when the N64 version and the dreamcast version have a baby. XD

I just thought of a theroy on the "cheat" text on the HUD in the trailer.

maybe the reward you get for beating the game is a cheat menu with things like moonjump? and that would lead to a way of getting to globox village..

also, noticed something strange, in the echoing caves in the middle when you ride the barrels, there was a hole in the wall and inside there was a hole teleport, with a sign above it with a king teensie face.. it says it goes to the glade of dreams. I didn't go in it because I wanted to finish the level and save.

EDIT: I gotta say i'm not impressed with the controls. I know it's not their fault because of the touchscreen, but even jumping from platform to platform is really tricky without physical controls for me, and I'm dying all the time in unnecessary places... maybe it takes getting used to
It takes getting used to. All the reviews bash it because the controls have a steep learning curve, but once you get used to it it becomes easy.

Good, I'll keep playing then and hope for the best, if they don't get easier, there's no way I'll be able to beat the bosses. Btw, how do you control the flying shell?

I haven't got there yet.
I bet you get to use the tilt sensors.
I'm investigating the hole right now, in the echoing caves.
Btw, that picture of ly is how she looks in the iphone version.

UPDATE:
I left my iphone running, unaware. When I checked back, rayman did his grimace animation!

Yeah I know, I took the screenshot, ha. I hope to god it doesn't involve tilting, I can never get the hang of it (e.g. crash kart)

The only parts of the game that involve tilting are the flying shell parts and the sliding part at the beginning, and the prison ship sliding. I guessing that the prison ship sliding uses the tilt sensor because whole 2 sections of that level are sliding, and then the last part is the flying shell, which the only possible way to control would be tilting, or else it would be impossible. I haven't played the top of the world level yet, I'm decided to go back to the echoing caves to investiagte the hole.

UPDATE:
EPIC!!!!!
SLUDGE SURFING ON A PLUM

Edit:
After the surfing, there's tons of webs everywhere and those spiky black ball things with the eyes.
then theres a bunch of purple lums..

Edit 2:
I just got a nasty idea.
I think gameloft made this hole and hid a object that you collect and it activates the cheat menu

UPDATE 2:
BLEH
There's this keg throwing pirate, and your on this wicked skinny pole! freaking impossible!

Uh, I think you're forgetting that:
- Razorbeard was like that in the original versions
- That passage in the Echoing Caves to the Fairy Glade was there in the original versions too. :P

They definitely changed Ly though, nice find.

If I remember correctly, it leads to a cage and a passage back to the Echoing Caves, though I'm probably wrong.

well I just finished the underneath the lava sanctuary, probably the hardest level in the game due to the touch controls..
I feel like I deserve a reward for pulling off that feat, it made me want to break my iPhone in two chuck- Norris style.

I'm at the tomb of the ancients, gonna see if the "secret hole" is present.
EDIT: it's there.
I also just beat the game, and when the credits were rolling, I saw this " an extra special thanks" then some persons name, and then it says they ported "globox town" and the disc.
:D THE DISC WAS MY FAV MINIGAME.
I guess there is some way to get to globox village.
I'm gonna check and see if anything opened up since I beat the game.

Nice, I'm at the final shell ride in the Menhir Hills that I found impossible on the DS version, and it's not looking good with these controls either, I've died like six times already because of that darned last Menhir

Edit-> just did it yay!

Edit2-> WTF it quit the game randomly after the level without saving and now I have to do it again!!!???! :pascontent:

I couldn't see much, but I saw a faint outline of a hole.
also, someone said there was another way into the secret room. I found the other way, it's at the beginning of the barrel ride with the lasers and switches. if you turn around right when you get to that section, there's a exit leading somewhere, but if you go into it lasers pop up and block it. no switch to be found to turn them off.
also, I found a stone in the forest of dreams that doesn't give you a hint.
