That's a great score in LS you got there. Congratulations. It's the score to beat, so the competetion's back on in LS.
I haven't really played R3 for real this semester. Too busy. I left the game in the middle of FC, where I'm collecting the missing points from my last visit. I guess I'll pick up the game when the exams are over. When I'm done with FC I only have LS and SBTC left to improve.
Xenon: I played R3 through on PS2 a few weeks ago. It was quite weird to play it on another platform. There are some differences for sure. One thing, Rayman doesn't seem to jump so high as on X-Box. However, I did jump over the Knaaren quite easily, in first attempt, with the Lockjaw in DOTK part 1. Also, you can jump to the upper level from a Pig in CF part 2, but it's harder than on the X-Box. On the other hand, Rayman seem to run faster on PS2. It made BOM part 3 easier than on the X-Box. And the Hoodblaster actually survives 50% of the time on PS2!!! What a soothing experience it was to play this part on this platform.
In TOTL part 2, I experienced the Lockjaw was already there on the upper platform. But it only happened the first time I played. I tried to die, but it wasn't there anymore. I guess it only happens when you open a whole new game. It makes it rather useless from a scoring point of view.
The main reason for me to play R3 on PS2 was the Hoodflyer part. It looks exactly the same as on the X-Box, so that left me baffled. How can one get more than 5.000 points in one combo from these Hoodflyers? If you have brought your PS2 back to life, and when you have the time, I hope you can make a video of it. I'm lost.
