Movies you just recently watched

Guillermo del Toro just announced that he's not directing The Hobbit. I am... disappointed, to say the least.

While I don't think the story is very original at all, I do like the universe it introduces. A bit like Harry Potter.

Last night at a sleepover, me and some friends watched this fucked up anime called "Pom Poko". It can't be taken seriously... search it on google. :L

Watched Paranormal Activity yesterday with a couple of friends. One of them had promised me that it was "The scariest movie of the century". It turns out she lied; I didn't find it scary at all. :|

Paranormal Activity wasn't really scary, except for the alternative ending which did startle me.

Ooh, a Studio Ghibli film, gotta watch it soon! :3

It really is a messed up film. We were watching it at like 3 in the morning and the racoons can transform themselves, so we were pretty much pissing ourselves:

Giant testicle attack ftw XD

I've watched three movies recently:

Hot Fuzz - Funny enough, but could have had so many more jokes.

Gamer - Okay movie, nothing memorable.

Robin Hood (2010) - I really enjoyed it. I like how it works as a prequel to the original story.

Damn it's been ages since I watched a movie in a cinema...
Once my exams are over I'll surely make up for that.

Those aren't really raccoons but rather Tanuki. I thought that movie pretty dragged but it was good.

Anyway last movie I watched was Beavis and Butthead do America. c=

There Will Be Blood is good, but it was trying too hard to be profound and meaningful and brilliant and whatever. Oscar-bait, I think they call it.

Alice in Wonderland isn't good. I was actually bothered by how incoherent and directionless it was, and that's never happened to me while watching a film before. I think this is also the first time I've actually been irritated by one of Johnny Depp's characters. And the film's overt feminism only compounded the boonishness. Back to the American McGee version then...

Just watched the Emperor's new Groove and Tenacious D with about 10 friends.. what a hilarious night xD
