As for problem 18... < is clueless about how to solve it without using arrays, and <'s program would probably be quite long (if <'s able to make it). How are you gonna do it ?

well, we're given that triangle with the top vertex of 75; my idea is to step one row lower, get two new triangles with tops 95 and 64 and calculate the sum of all elements in those... then choose the one with the bigger sum and add its vertex value to the sum, and keep doing that until I reach the bottom

that's the algorithm but I'm not sure how I'm gonna code it yet, but yeah the elements will have to be stored in arrays

That's exactly what < wants (= loads of guitars), but < has to choose which one <'ll buy first. It'll probably be the Telecaster.

< can't wait for the day when < gets a Martin (probably 10 years ahah).
